Window shopping
Posted: January 3, 2014 Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: bashful, Kensington Gardens, marble arch, Mr Selfridge, Oxford Street, Portobello road 66 CommentsYesterday mummy took Bashful to work. I don’t think this fair as I NEVER get to go to work with her:-(
They left early so they could do some pre-work window shopping on Oxford street and Regents Street. Bashful was quite excited about seeing Selfridges, apparently he thought Mr Selfridge was a reality TV show and was hoping to photobomb some scenes lol! They then walked down to Marble Arch and wandered around Kensington Gardens for a bit. Bashful tried to hire out a Boris Bike but had trouble with the pedals. So instead he lingered outside the gates to the palace hoping to see the young prince, but I guess they were out visiting his great granny today.
Back at mummy’s office, Bashful played a joke on mummy by pretending to be her mouse. Then at lunchtime she took him to Portobello Road, which some of you might recognise if you’ve ever seen Bedknobs and Broomsticks. He tried to get a present for Bacon from one of the stalls, but got a bit overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle.
We’re supposed to have terrible weather again this weekend, but mummy is hoping she can take Bashful to visit some of the big tourist attractions like St Paul’s, The Eye and the Tower of London. Please keep your paws crossed.
Wow Bashful sure is seeing the sites. Bet a great time was had by all. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
It sure made the transition to work easier having bashful there
Bashful is having a great time 🙂
I sure hope so!
Wow, what a great trip. We would love to visit those places! 🙂
You’ll have to come and visit:-)
Wow Misaki, your Mom is really giving Bashful a great tour of the town! I bet you wish you’d been along too. So you’re gonna get icky weather AGAIN? Yeeks! We had a snowstorm all night but only about 3-4 inches of snow. It’s the WIND the bloody WIND that’s bad and we lost power for a while during the night. I hope you all don’t have THAT! Big Hugs to you dear girl for sharing your Mum with Bashful so much while he’s visiting!!
Hugs, Sammy
It’s so not fair, I reckon I’d really liven up her office if I were there
I wonder who taught Bashful to ride a bike… He looks like a pro!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
He sure enjoyed himself
WOW – Misaki, your mom really is showing my little tyke a good time there. Don’t be jealous. You know Bashful is going to come home to America and tell us all kinds of tales about you. You’re going to be as famous here as you are there my friend! XOXO – Bacon
Aww Bacon, you always know what to say to cheer me up xx
It’s always mutual my friend 🙂 XOXO – Bacon
Wow you are showing him the big SMOKE 🙂
I’m doing me best!
Oh my gosh! Such beautiful photos! Bashful looks like he’s having the time of his life. Maybe next time, your mom can take you window shopping! Much love, The Scottie Mom.
I hope she does, it’s so not fair that I didn’t get to go
Gosh Misaki, I don’t think it is very fair that Bashful gets to go everywhere with your mum but you have to stay home! That said, I love all the photos!
*Cairn cuddles* and happy weekend!
Oz
I don’t think it’s fair either:-(
Tower of London? What if the Queen orders “Off with his head”? How would you behead Bashful?
OMD now that is a conundrum
I don’t want to stir up trouble but I think that Bashful dude is taking over your life! He seems nice and all, but he is the one going places and not you…isn’t that wrong?
I think so too!
WE are enjoying Bashful’s Tours as much as HE is. THANKS.
I’m so glad to hear it
Oh Misaki…I would give your mummy some of your best “I love you” faces until she melts and takes you to work with her…it’s only fair!

Lucky Bashful…but, a mouse? Um, Bashful. You know they’re tasty morsels, don’t you? 😀

Bashful is very lucky, but don’t worry Misaki! I’m sure there are lots of things you would get to enjoy that Bashful would find positively boring. Carrie x
I guess that’s true
