Bashful’s big day out
Posted: January 6, 2014 | Author: Misaki | Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: london, sightseeing, St Paul's Tower of London |
Yesterday mummy and Bashful headed into London for a day of sightseeing. They did most of the popular sights and then in the afternoon they met up with Nanny and Grampy for the Twelfth Night celebrations outside the Globe.
I’ve captioned the photos below to show where they were taken, though I’d imagine most of them are obvious. Bashful’s pretty tired now, so I think he’s going to rest up today.

That’s an adventure! How great that Bashful was in London with your mom. Have you seen HRM too? Bet the parade of the Horse Guards and the Band was just for your mom and Bashful :o)
The parade was pretty cool! Unfortunately Queenie wasn’t around, otherwise I’m sure she would’ve rushed out to meet Bashful

OMD Bashful REALLY saw all the FAMOUS stuffs in London… and even sampled Mulled Wine and BEER…
Our Mom has seen the London Bridge… that got moved to the U.S.A….
That’s my trip to London also. She was in Lake Havasu (we live in Arizona) and asked for directions to the bridge but She was only 100 feet from it.
Oh no, I forgot to add in the pic of the boring London Bridge in London doh! Would love to see the one in the US
It’s really the original London Bridge-brought over and reconstructed stone by stone. Not a copy-it really is the original bridge.
Wow Misaki
Bashful had a full day…we love the pictures
Hugs
Madi and mom
Thanks so much Madi

Your Pals,

He does And has more stamps in it than my mummy does lol
Love all your pictures! You all must have been awfully tired from all that sightseeing. How thoughtful of you to bring Bashful with you! He looks like he’s having a grand time!
Thanks, I sure hope he is:-)
Hi Misaki! I must have missed a lot – why is your mummy taking a rock out when she could be having fun with you?
All the best for 2014!
My thoughts exactly!!
Bashful is Bacon’s (http://piglove.wordpress.com/) pet rock, he’s on his world tour. He’s been staying with us over christmas and mummy has been showing him the sights.
I think he is trying to take your place Misaki, I’d bury him in the garden if I were you bawahwhahhwha xxooxxx
Mollie and Alfie
me too! I think he’ll be heading home soon!
Yey, looks like tones of fun… and they even bought you a coffee so you can cope better with all that sightseeing….
So, what did Bashful like the best?
I bet it was a Big Ben 🙂
He enjoyed Big Ben alot, but I think his favourite was Buckingham Palace:-)
oooo Royal Bashful 🙂
Busy boy! He really hit all the important stuff. I hope the bus fare wasn’t too expensive! He really could’ve shared a seat!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
he sure was a seat-hogger, but mummy made him stand when an old lady got on
Arooooo, Misaki. Ma says that some of those photos remind her of her visit to London as a child! She asks, “What happened to all the pigeons in Trafalgar Square?”. BOL Great photos. So glad mom and Bashful had a wonderful day out and about.
*Cairn cuddles*
Oz
Mummy remembers feeding the pigeons too! But they were considered a health hazard so they stopped selling food and when that didn’t work they sent in hawks to err ask them nicely to leave lol
Looks like Bashful got to take in all the major sites of London! Hope he enjoyed them! Lee and Phod
he sure did!
Great photos.
Sheba.
