taking a dip

When I was finally brave enough to get out of my hiding place, I tended to use it as a giant water bowl rather than to paddle in!
But it was pretty hot yesterday so I decided to paddle my feet. Mummy and daddy were completely shocked.
This isn’t so bad:-)
Maybe next time they’ll fill it up a bit more though.
I could get used to this!

No! No! No! I hate water on my feet. I dislike puddles, mud and water. Although, I have to say that since the big guy came I have been out in the rain more than I used to and I have picked my way through a few puddles and nothing terrible happened so I’m better than I was. I can’t see me going into the sea or a paddling pool though.
I like you’re bright yellow pool – very summer-like 🙂

Oh Misaki, I just love that smiley face in the last photo. You are one beautiful, happy dog. So glad you’ve learnt not to be scared of the giant waterbowl 🙂 You’ll be needing to cool off now summers on its way to you. PS – Litchi is terrified of water. So much so that she stands as far away from her water bowl as possible when drinking. You’d never find her in that 😀
Oh poor Litchi, I was a bit like that but I’m starting to like it now 🙂
I LOVE paddling! Floyd doesn’t like it though… He likes to play with the hose!

I used to feel exactly the same way! But I’ll run a mile if the shower hose or water snake comes on
I have such a waterbowl too – in blue and I always made a circle around this thingy and I never went in . Now the waterbowl is mom’s bed for herbs and I used it on saturday as a litter box (mom was hopping mad)
BOL, but it was your bowl first!
For me it is more of a soaker pool. I get in and lie down, try to get as wet as possible. My sister uses it as a giant water bowl.
I’m not that brave yet Ems, but maybe someday!
I don’t like the water snake either but i love to paddle.

It looks like you were pretty happy to get your paws wet and cooled off! Boomer and Dottie used to have a little pool like this one but refused to get in, they would only drink out of it and swim in the river or lake.
I was exactly the same as them! Daddy thinks its because I had to climb into the pool, rather than just stepping srtaight in
