Waterworld

Especially the puddles! Daddy says I’m like a little kid as I make a beeline for every one we pass:-) But at the moment most of the country looks like one big puddle. It’s turning into Waterworld.
Where I live we’ve been pretty lucky and have escaped the floods, but I don’t want to get caught unawares. After some thought I decided to take some drastic action and I built myself an ark:
I took it out for a spin down the river, stopping off at Pets At Home to stock up on toys and treats. But after a little while I got a bit lonely. So I headed off to see if some of my buddies wanted to join me.
This is loads better!
There’s plenty of room on board so if you want to escape the the floods give us a shout and we’ll come and pick you up. But just be warned, Alfie is our navigator and he’s having problems with the map. We’re all dizzy from sailing round and round the Isle of Wight lol.

Very funny. We’ll all soon be developing webbed feet at this rate. Might give you a call to pick us up, however today is bright and sunny just like a proper spring morning – so different from yesterday!
Having a dry couple of days really has made a difference, I just hope it lasts!

Yes I think we’re doomed lol, we may well float down under.
The news from Somerset and other parts of the country affected by the floods is pretty dire. we haven’t had any rain for a couple of days and fingers crossed it stays that way

Yikes! You’re smart to have that ark at the ready Misaki….we’ve been reading about all the rain and floods and winds and BIG WAVES on the water….not good….! You’re at least prepared. Just be careful! Don’t make me worry about you!!

We love your ark, Misaki! We have asked our Mummy to buy us ice skates. We got snow and then ice so trying to walk around, even on four paws, has been an adventure! Love from Simone the collie and Eddie & Lucy the JRs.

Miss D would love to be saved, but your ark will never make it across our snow & ice! Ice is so thick on top of the snow that we can slip and slide across it without falling thru! We’ve done too many face plants already 😦 Hope the rains dry out for you soon

Ah Misaki! Such a good idea, it’s terrible out there isn’t it? we’ve been watching on the news and feel so lucky it hasn’t come this was … yet! We’re on the east coast of England, so if you want to steer over here you should be ok! But we will definitely sniff you out if it gets bad here too

I’m so relieved we’ve had a few drier days. We’ve been lucky we’re we are in Essex that we haven’t been too affected although the river is much higher than usual and our garden is like a swamp lol
Yeah! We have a swamp-like garden too, the pups found it the other day straight after a bath! But like you, we are very lucky that’s the worst we have had of it so far. Very close to the coast here in North East Lincs so fingers crossed for us all x
