New piggy friends

The other day I met some of Bacon’s British cousins. And they were so friendly and eager to chat, unfortunately my Pig is a bit rusty so we didn’t get beyond the pleasantries.

Mummy’s pictures aren’t great, but hopefully you can see them. I just love making new friends. Have you made any unusual friends lately?

Meeting my baby cousin

Hey all, how was your weekend?

I spent yesterday getting to know my baby cousin. I loved every minute of it, cos for some reason I got even more cuddles, belly rubs and praise than normal. It seemed like everytime nanny or mummy held him, I got extra attention from grampy. We even took a nice walk, and I got to make some new friends . It was a win-win. I did run and hide when he started crying though, I couldn’t handle that!

All in all it was a good day:-) Did you make any new friends this weekend?

I haven’t been round Blogville much recently, but I have been busy helping mummy wrap presents, write cards and decorate the house ready for Christmas.

I have had a few fab walks recently though, particularly when I met up with my friends Sebastian, Cooper and Luna. We had sooo much fun together:-)

I’m always happiest when I have a few friends to play with.

Have you had any playdates recently?

Catching up

I’ve been AWOL for a few days so I’m just trying to catch up now. Part of the reason is that due to all the horrid fireworks we haven’t done very much. Over the weekend we went to see nanny and grampy and it sounded like we were being bombed! Although I’ve learnt to tolerate them alot more, I’m still not impressed.

In the meantime I’ve spent some time with old and new friends, including an older husky who desperately wanted to play but she has hip dysplaysia.

We still had a dip in the stream together though:-)

The other thing is, it’s now only 44 days till christmas – scary thought! If anyone would like to exchange Christmas cards this year, please drop me a line with your address to: misadventuresofmisaki@yahoo.co.uk. I’ll also be posting my e-card on the 24th as usual.

Happy Monday everyone!

Competition time!

It feels like forever since I’ve held a competition so I thought one was well-overdue!

It’s a photo contest and the theme is the Commonwealth Games.  So send in a photo of you running, leaping or jumping about. Or maybe a picture of you post-event all tuckered out lol. Entirely up to you. Send your photo to me at: misadventuresofmisaki@yahoo.co.uk remembering to include your name and bloggy by Monday 11th and voting will start on the 12th.

The two most popular photos will win a dog or cat collar from Mollie’s store.

If you are not a dog or a cat, you will win something of equal value from my local pet store. Oh and it’s open to anyone wherever you live.

Any questions let me know. I look forward to seeing your pics!

Luna-tics

I’d like to introduce you to my buddy Luna, She’s a husky-collie cross and is about a year and a half. I think she looks alot like Lexus from Loved by a Husky. Here’s a little video of us together, as you can see her human brother wanted to play too lol.

Sorry about all the chat in the background. Some silly talk about cats.

Did you make any new friends today?

Role reversal

I enjoy playing with dogs of all ages and sizes, and as I’ve got older I’ve got better at changing my style to suit my play partner. The other day I bumped into my staffie friend Daisy who is a whirlwind of energy. Mummy and daddy thought it was funny that I was on the receiving end of her attentions and I took the more passive role for a change. Usually I’m the relentless one.

The barking you can hear, is her sister Stella who was running around in the background with her lead in her mouth.

Do you tend to take the lead when you play with others?

Getting back to normal

The Easter weekend was full of visiting family and catching up with friends, nice long walks, playing in the pond and loads and loads of lovely cuddles:-) Here are a few photos from the past few days.

Did you have a good weekend?

Fun and friends on friday

Mummy and daddy have been off work for the past few days and have been super lazy. I’ve done my best to motivate them but it’s been hard. This has meant I’ve been going for walkies much later than usual. Surprisingly this has been great because I actually got to meet up with some of my buddies. Ben and Henry were my first ever friends but they go to the park around mid-morning meaning I usually miss them.

Ben (with the ball) and Henry

Then I bumped into Rio, a 4-year-old husky. We’ve met a few times before but usually in passing, today we got to have a nice play together.

Then we came home and daddy gave me a good brushie. I was in heaven:-)

that’s it daddy, don’t stop

And to top off the day, we’re off to nanny and grampy’s for dinner. I wish everyday could be like this one:-)

Sorry I haven’t been round to visit anyone, mummy’s laziness has extended to my bloggy. But I hope to catch up over the weekend.

Fun with Mollie

As you know mummy, daddy and I went down to visit Mollie and her family yesterday!

We had the best time playing on the beach near her house. Mollie chased her ball and I chased Mollie:-) Not being a fetch dog, my ball kept ending up in the sea BOL.

Then we went back to Mollie’s for dinner, which was nomalicious:-) We had such a great time. Mollie and I behaved ourselves and I didn’t eat Alfie, so all in all it went really well. The person who embarrassed herself was mummy who got completely off her face BOL. It you want to see the state she was in, head over to Mollie‘s to find out!

I had the best time, and can’t wait to meet up again soon:-)

ps. Bad storms are due today, so please stay safe if you live in the UK.
