Today is my daddy’s birthday so I wanted to wish him a very happy birthday. Later we are going to have some birthday snuggles. But in the meantime here we are chilling on the sofa together:-)
Happy birthday daddy! Sending you loads of love and licks, from your little girl xxxx
Today I have a special guest post from Andrea at veterinarytechnicianguide.com which I hope you’ll enjoy:
Not every pup has a super hero parent like Misaki does.
As a veterinary technician, we get an adrenaline rush when we get emergency calls. But when emergency calls become “I don’t have time to clean Sparky’s constant vomiting, so now its an emergency for me” calls, then we just get annoyed.
As much as we would like every pet parent to take their dog’s vomiting seriously the first time it happens, far too often they would rather wait until the vomiting gets so bad it’s starting to affect their daily routine.
Whether you have an Alaskan Malamute or a Pug, being a good pet parent makes you a super hero parent in the eyes of all veterinary technician!
That’s just one example of what vet techs go through on a daily basis. You can access the full article on the real veterinary technician job duties here.
Many thanks for sharing Andrea at veterinarytechnicianguide.com
Hey all, how was your weekend?
I spent yesterday getting to know my baby cousin. I loved every minute of it, cos for some reason I got even more cuddles, belly rubs and praise than normal. It seemed like everytime nanny or mummy held him, I got extra attention from grampy. We even took a nice walk, and I got to make some new friends . It was a win-win. I did run and hide when he started crying though, I couldn’t handle that!
All in all it was a good day:-) Did you make any new friends this weekend?
As you know, everyday I meet my buddy Bella for fun in the park. We wrestle and chase and generally have a great time together.
Bella, as you can see, is a GSD so I was interested to see this infographic by Shepped.com which gives some info about Shepherd’s and popular breed mixes, most of which I’ve never heard of. But I particularly like the Shug! What’s your favourite mix?
I seem to spend alot of time waiting. Waiting for mummy and daddy to get home from work. Waiting for daddy to put his shoes on for a walk. Waiting for mummy to realise it’s dinnertime. Sometimes I have to wait outside the shop while daddy buys himself pressies (mummy waits with me so I don’t get dognapped).
I’m still waiting for the pet shop bunnies to want to play with me, but mummy says I’ll be waiting a loooong time.
But sometimes waiting brings rewards, like when I waited to cross the road and found half a baguette!
Waiting can be pretty boring at times, but I like waiting for daddy to finish his drink down the pub as usually I get lots of cuddles from the other people there.
Do you like waiting?
Mummy and I have been working on our pumpkin – well she did the carving but I directed the process.
She didn’t do too bad a job and I think you can roughly see that it’s supposed to be me
Once it’s dried out a bit we’ll take some close-up dark pics so hopefully you can see it better.
What have you carved in your pumpkin?
