My bestie Mollie and I are co-hosting a Valentine’s poem competition and I hope you will all join in.
All you have to write your version of the last two lines of this classic valentine’s poem:
You have two chances to win, one on my bloggy and one on Mollie’s, just write your poem in the comments below.
The closing date for entries is the 8th Feb and voting starts on the 10th. The winner will be announced on the 14th feb. You could win one of Mollie’s fab ornaments.
Can’t wait to read your entries! Happy writing!
It’s time to vote for your favourite blogville sporting star! Hopefully I’ve set this up right and you should be able to vote for more than one photo.
I’ve leave the voting open till Wednesday night and I’ll announce the winners on Thursday.
Thanks so much to everyone who’s entered my contest so far. There’s still time to get your photos in. All the details are in Tuesday’s post. What will your event be?
perhaps you’re a football star?
Or maybe a star weight-lifter?
Can’t wait to find out!
It feels like forever since I’ve held a competition so I thought one was well-overdue!
It’s a photo contest and the theme is the Commonwealth Games. So send in a photo of you running, leaping or jumping about. Or maybe a picture of you post-event all tuckered out lol. Entirely up to you. Send your photo to me at: firstname.lastname@example.org remembering to include your name and bloggy by Monday 11th and voting will start on the 12th.
The two most popular photos will win a dog or cat collar from Mollie’s store.
If you are not a dog or a cat, you will win something of equal value from my local pet store. Oh and it’s open to anyone wherever you live.
Any questions let me know. I look forward to seeing your pics!
Following up from my post the other week about my failed selfie with mummy, I was contacted by Buyagift who are hosting a pet selfie contest! It’s all a bit of fun, but it’s for a great cause too because the winning pet owner will receive £1,000 to split between two fab charities – Angels Animal Rescue and Wood Green. They’ll also be given a full tour of the Wood Green shelter, meet some of the dogs and will have the opportunity to present the guys there with the cheque in person.
So of course I had to join in. Here’s my selfie:-)
- To enter you either submit your pic via their facebook page, or you can email it direct to: email@example.com
- On 3rd July, they’ll select ten furry finalists to be sent over to the guys at Angels & Wood Green – they will judge the ultimate winners.
- The winner and runner-up will be announced on July 10th.
Will you be entering too? You can find more here: http://www.buyagift.co.uk/nextpetmodel2
PS, don’t forget about Mollie’s auction!
I thought it was very appropriate considering it’s spring. And this weekend it arrived. What do you think? Pretty cool, right?
Daddy says it’s a shame I don’t smell like a flower lol.
If you want one too, just pop over to Mollie‘s shop.
Thanks so much MTM, it was a great contest!
I should probably point out it’s only open to residents in the UK and Ireland and closes on Friday 28th February. If you want to enter, send a clear photo to capture your dog’s winning personality, and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject Pup Personality 2014, along with their name, age, breed and why their personality makes them top of the pups!
The competition is pretty tough, with some dogs already having over 600 votes. Mummy has entered my snowball fight picture but so far I only have a few votes. So I’m begging for you to vote for me. Pretty please? All you have to do is ‘like’ my picture I’ve put pleading posts on facebook but people have been liking the link rather than the actual picture, and those doesn’t count. If you are on fb, please could you vote for me? Thank you:-)
And while you’re there, you might want to vote for Del too his picture is here
In the meantime, I’ve just comeback from the park where I met a new golden friend. She and I played bitey face and now I’m covered in dirt and slobber lol.
The wind is so strong here in the UK I think I’m in danger of being blown to Oz. If you find yourself there too, I’ll meet you in the Emerald city:-)
This weekend we celebrated Fakemas – fake christmas – this happens every year with Auntie Els and Uncle Lee, we eat lots, exchange presents and I get loads of cuddles and bellyrubs:-)
My main piece of news is that I won a cool contest on facebook. It was with D for Dog who made my personalised food and water bowls. Anyway, you had to submit a photo of your dog playing in the snow, so mummy sent in this pic of me back in January having a snowball fight:
And I was one of the ten winners:-) I got this cool red glittery ID tag which they personalised for me:
I wasn’t feeling very cooperative so the photo isn’t very clear:
How cool is that!
While I was enjoying my new ID tag, we had a visit from SOD from Jasper’s bloggy– he was very naughty and knocked over one of mummy’s plant pots. Uh oh!
Thanks to everyone for participating in my ball skills contest, all the entries were fab, but sadly there can only be one winner. And that is…
Congrats Phod. I’ll drop you an email to organise your prize:-)
It’s been super hot the last couple of days so I’ve been splashing around in my paddling pool:-)
Hope you’re keeping cool too.
Have a great Friday everyone!
Thanks to everyone who’s entered my Ball Skills contest. I’ve had some amazing entries.
Below is the poll and you can vote for as many entrants as you want. Voting is open till tomorrow 2pm (UK time) and the winner will be announced shortly afterwards.
Don’t forget the winner will get one of Mollie‘s personalised ornaments. OK are you ready for this? Then here we go!
Thanks for voting, don’t forget to pop by tomorrow to find out the winner.
