Despite mummy and daddy’s poor efforts to tidy it up, it’s still a bit of a disaster zone. Admittedly being small there’s not a lot they can do with it. I help as best as I can of course, but even that’s not really enough.
The other day they decided to get some plants for our planters, which were happily growing weeds in them. These got unceremoniously dug out and in their place they put funny smelly herbs. I decided to dig them up check them out.
Apparently my gardening skills were not required and my help went completely unappreciated.
But now we have a bud on one of the fuchsia’s they don’t seem to mind as much.

hahaha, I did the same yesterday… our garden looks like a nuclear test site :o) I think my staff should plant more weed that’s the only thingy what grows perfect :o)
I agree, weeds are hardy and sometimes pretty, growing them should definitely be encouraged
We love a bit of landscaping but as GET OFF THE FLOWER BED is one of my many names we sure don’t feel appreciated Misaki. Have a terrific Tuesday.

Mom loves fuchsia flowers. We had one but she isn’t a good gardener. She often forgets to water things. I think you were a big help..don’t understand how that didn’t go over well. I like checking on the plants we do have though. They smell interesting.
My peeps are the same but they like to blame me – guess it makes them feel better

I’m not much of a gardener myself….mine are still horrid with weeds, I have GOT to get out there and do something with them! BOL! BUT ont he other hand, my huskies love to help with the gardens as you do! Although……I would prefer they watch from a distance! haha!

My job is to dig the holes and pick the tomatoes. Works out nicely for me.
I think that sounds like a great job. I need to plant some tomatoes:-)
We like to eat the garden and just the other day our mum had to put a house plant outside on the deck because… well… I ate and scared it to almost death (me, Bella). Your fuchsia plant is very pretty. wag wag

Not big on gardening at my house. As long as our grass, trees and shrubs don’t die, we are happy.

Our flowerpots are hanging too high up for me to reach, but I do help trimming the grass now and then. It’s a good thing you’re keeping an eye (paw) on things over there, M.

Chancy loves gardening and he always helps. Some places he tills though is not where I want to plant so we have to work together to smooth those places back out. He is a big help with weeding and digging out roots. We are sorry sweet Misaki that your help was unappreciated. The fuchsia us a very pretty color. Hugs and nose kisses

One thing I did last year after I lost Abby was to start a memorial garden for her. I do love gardens but I am not as skilled as a true gardener should be. But I do enjoy puttering in the yard and making flowers bloom.

Hi Y’all!
My Humans try to plant things than don’t require lots of attention cause they spend so much time away. In the mountains my Human tried to plant some stuff, but there is only a thin layer of top soil. My Human can’t get the shovel in over an inch. So much for planting. She had someone put some plants between rocks on the bank but heavy rains have washed all the soil off a couple of rose bushes and azaleas, so they died.

I love to garden but haven’t had much time to attend to it this year. I am still growing some weeds in my planters! Bentley likes to help by laying wherever I am working.

Oh, yes, I do. I like to watch all the crawling and flying creatures in the flowers and on the ground, but most of all I love to water the plants and fertilize them once in a while 😀 Pawkisses 🙂

Yow Misaki me n Mum lub to garden…butt we haz bin told we iz gonna lose sum of da wee garden in July when dey reedo da patio (we iz NOTT lookin forwerd to dat me can tell ya!)
So befur da men ripped out da Hosta we gave it to our naybur fer his garden n Mum reeplanted da violetz in da wee garden where it nott be ripped up. WE haz da Ivy bush n cannot figure out what to do wif it. If we lose it we haz a small one beeside da drain pipe so we will hab sum to frame both sidez of da wee garden.
Mum wanted to plant Sage n Katnip butt we haz to wait til next yeer…..if me iz eben here 😉
