It’s been raining endlessly here. I don’t really care but mummy is seriously bored by it all and keeps moaning about having to go to work with wet feet. Imagine how I feel LOL.

But instead of going on about the weather, I thought I’d tell you about Sandy. It’s a bit of a step away from my usual blog posts but it’s good to shake things up every now and again. You may have read or heard about him in the news. He was living in Greece and was abandoned due to his wonky legs.

Well Mutts in Distress, our local rescue centre which is run by Pat Clark (who also runs the doggy class I went to), raised the money to bring him to the UK and have his legs operated on. How amazing is that!

From the facebook updates I’ve seen he’s doing really well, one leg has already been operated on and the other is scheduled for today. Please keep your paws crossed for him.

There’s been quite a lot of press coverage on Sandy of late, but you can find the latest on Mutt’s website:

I’m really proud to be connected to Mutts and of all the work they’ve done to help Sandy. And most of all I wish him the very best in his recovery.

  6. Oh what a dear boy Sandy is…..and what incredible people Mutts in Distress are to help him out with the needed surgery on his poor front legs. He’s a beautiful dog and we hope and pray he finds a truly happy new home where he can run like the wind in his very own yard like other dogs do. Hugs to everyone involved in helping him.
