False Confession day

I’m joining in on Ranger’s confession bloghop today. The idea is I’m going to confess two things: one true and one false. Then you have to guess which one’s which. Tomorrow I’ll let you know if you got it right or not.
OK so here goes *deep breath*
Confession 1:
When I was a pup I chewed a hole in mummy’s towel. She didn’t realise and went to use it, then found she had a homemade poncho!Ā She hadn’t realised I’d played with it and thought it had been eaten by moths. Doh! Mummy you are so silly and gullible.
Confession 2:
Daddy bought a nice spelt loaf and left it on the kitchen counter. When he came back it was gone. He thought mummy ate it and told her off. She denied it, but he thought she was lying. She wasn’t – it was me!
So which one do you think is true?

I know for a fact, that you do not eat meat over the counter, you like to kill the animal and then eat it, hair and claws included.

It’s hard to tell. I can easily see you in a terry-cloth poncho with bread crumbs on your whiskers. i’ll go with the food. Your peeps are too observant to let you chew a BIG hole in a towel.

Hmmmm, having some experience here with counter surfing makes us inclined to believe that #2 is true, or at least more true than #1, which we think could also be true.
