Furballs!

I love it when our carpet changes to that lovely shade of Misaki:-) Here’s a pic of me having a nice brush. And if last time is anything to go by, then this is just the beginning!
I’ve been saving up all my fur as Mummy has found someone locally who can spin it. I’m hoping that in the not too distant future she’ll have enough to make a Misaki scarf. How cool will that be!

Not sure how it will work out, but the lady spinning it said she’s done it before so paws crossed!
You are brave getting brushed so much. When Mom tries to brush me, I usually lose my mind and start running all over e house. Sometimes she puts my fur outside, so birds can coat their nests with it. I have already coated my nest with it….

Oh what a SPECIAL thing if your Mom is able to get a Misaki scarf from your very own furs!!!! WOW!!!! If you have enough left over I’d love a Misaki sweater…..tee hee.

At least you only shed a couple times a year! We have a snowstorm of fur every day with my sister…we could knit a sweater from that fur weekly. Mom had a dog like you growing up so she knows about your kind of fur too and it is pretty bad certain times of the year.
Maybe you should get some of her fur spun too? Bet it’ll be lovely and soft
at least you aren’t COUGHING IT UP like ME 🙂

I’m not usually a fan of being brushed, but during blowing coat season it does really help stop the itchiness, so I don’t tend to mind as much.
Wow, that’s a lot of fur… I have only some lasheslike- hairs… maybe enough to knit a fingernail-cover :o)

We could trade a Misaki scarf for a Doggy coat, mine is like a sheep, elegant black.
But he doesn’t shed so you’d to wait till it’s sheering season.

That is wonderful news about saving your furs. Mom did that furor me to…after a year I had enough of my furs for our friend to spin. Mom bought some store yarn too but we had enough of mine for two rows on a scarf and a small sleeping pad for me
