Waiting for snow
Posted: January 11, 2013 Filed under: fur, weather | Tags: alaskan malamute, blown coat, fur, poncho, puppy, snow, superglue 73 CommentsThe weather report says we *might* have snow this weekend woohoo!! And I’ve just blown my winter coat. Typical:-(
I have an idea though: I’m going to cover myself in superglue and then roll on the floor in the fur mummy’s collected – it’s a totally brilliant plan right?
Alternately, maybe I’ll just borrow daddy’s poncho:
It’s a look for certain!
Hehehehe!
Love the pinchi! Toby and I are hoping for snow too we didn’t get any last time!
Let’s keep our paws crossed!
I smell snow….or at least the prickling in my nostrils that passes for it now a days!
Yeah, I think daddy’s poncho is perhaps a bit better. Imagine a bath with glued fur – not a happy thought 😀
Good point Zena! Just the bath itself is enough to make me realise it’s a bad idea!
Looking good, as always!
Thanks Dalton:-)
Hey Misaki we fished the snow boots out and gloves and hats and all the stuff ready for snow. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. Yea! Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
Woohoo! Let’s hope so Molly!
Misaki
What wotten timing, but yoow so clevew. I think youw Daddi’s poncho is a gweat ide. Less messy than the gloo stuffs, plus it’s vewy becoming
Smoochie kisses
Asta
Awww thanks Asta:-)
You need a hat 🙂
Great idea, will have to nose around in the cupboard to see if I can find one!
I think you are rockin’ the poncho look for sure!!! Keep the snow there please! We are having spring temps this weekend and are thrilled about it! Barks and licks and love, Dakota
No worries, I plan to be very selfish with the snow – if we do get it ofc:-)
You might feel naked but I think you still have plenty of fur for some snow. I figure the really thick fur is more for super cold temps. Hope you get a load of snow!
I hope so too Ems. TBH I think you’re right, once I’m doing some zoomies in it I’ll be lovely and warm:-)
The poncho “works” but don’t trip over it when you’re running around! It’s just a TAD too big for you Misaki – still it’s a better idea than the super glue thing for sure (you’d not only get your blown fur on you but probably some dust bunnies, random loose kibble, a toy or two, and anything ELSE lying around). You don’t want to look like a walking dust bin!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Hmmm…maybe I need a belt? Will have to take a look in daddy’s cupboard to see what I can find…
And good point about the glue, though would mean I’d have some snacks close by if I got hungry bol
very stylish xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo 🙂
hugs and snowflakes to You xoxoxoxoxo
snowflakes for you xo

Sam
Aww thanks Sam!
Si. Si. Youz look really cool. I want one too. I even like the word P-O-N-C-H-O.
Wags,
Ranger
You would look great in a poncho Ranger!
That’s a darned good plan Misaki!!!! I hope the snow like the UK (what else, it’s great!) and will not pop over the channel, currently we have sun and woohoo! NO rain ;o)
If we get snow I hope to hold on to it, so don’t worry and enjoy the sunshine:-)
We think the poncho would be an easier clean-up 🙂 Enjoy the snow if you get it!
Oink oink,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig
Thanks Cocco, I hope we do get some!
That poncho looks good, but I think it might trip you up when you start playing in the snow. I don’t think you’re in much danger of getting cold when you start running around.
That’s a good point Clowie! I do hope to do lots of zoomies in the lovely snow:-)
belt is a good idea Misaki,I’m looking forward to snow too,xx Speedy
Paws crossed Speedy! The temperature has dropped so here’s hoping:-)
The poncho looks smashing, I would go with that.
Thanks Roxy:-)
Don’t use super glue. What happens next summer?
Hmmmm…good point Kyla!
Wrap up warm Misaki/ We had snow several days ago but most of it has gone now 😦
Oh noes, I hope you had fun in it!
I have a very adorable pink parka that I could loan you, M. ….Hmmmm. Come to think of it, the size might not be quite right.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Maybe I could use it as a hat BOL
