Posted: May 13, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized, fur | Tags: alaskan malamite, blowing coat, fur, puppy 79 Comments »Due to the crazy weather we’ve been having, I’m blowing my coat again hehehehe! I love it when our carpet changes to that lovely shade of Misaki:-) Here’s a pic of me having a nice brush. And if last time is anything to go by, then this is just the beginning!
I’ve been saving up all my fur as Mummy has found someone locally who can spin it. I’m hoping that in the not too distant future she’ll have enough to make a Misaki scarf. How cool will that be!
Hope you’re all having a great day. Mollie’s shop is opening today so don’t forget to pop by for the grand opening!
All About Dogs
Posted: May 12, 2013 Filed under: dogs | Tags: alaskan malamute, puppy, agility, All ABout Dogs, dog show, events 63 Comments »Today I went to the All About Dogs show in Brentwood.
We got there early and only stayed a couple of hours as it started to get hot and was crazy busy. But I had loads of fun. I made lots of friends, most of all with a giant malamute called Mick – seriously he was twice the size of me! I also had a go at an agility course. I wasn’t too sure at first but by the end of it I started to get the hang of what I was supposed to do, I think daddy was more tired than me lol.
We had such a great time, apparently there’s another in July so am hoping we can go to that one too:-)
What did you get up to today?
Park day 2.0
Posted: May 10, 2013 Filed under: blog hop, walks | Tags: alaskan malamute, bench, monument, nature reserve, park, park day 2.0, puppy, war memorial 65 Comments »You’ll be pleased to hear that my park has now fully recovered from the ‘trashing’ it received at the weekend and all is back to normal! So I decided to do my first Park Day 2.0 post which is hosted by my boydawg Gizmo and the lovely Finn.
I picked bingo card 4 and went for an easy row.
1. Follow Finn‘s blog – CHECK
2. Like Kong premium treats on facebook - CHECK

3. Park bench. This marks a free space but I thought I’d include one anyway:-) - CHECK
4. Find a monument or sculpture. There are a couple in my park but I chose the war memorial - CHECK
5. Take a walk in a nature reserve. Yep we have one of those too - CHECK
And that makes BINGO! So there we have it, my first park day 2.0 post. Are you taking part?
Stamps, shops and onesies:-)
Posted: May 9, 2013 Filed under: presents | Tags: alaskan malamute, etsy, puppy, shops, slumber party, stamps 71 Comments »The other day my boydawg Gizmo posted a pic of a stamp he bought from Etsy, and I quite fancied one myself. So I picked up this little cute one, its a paw print with my name underneath. Cool huh?
I picked it up from Etchy Things if you’re interested.
Talking of shops, don’t forget to check out the new Pet Bloggers Mall, which is going to be opening in July. There’s some cool stuff going on already with a logo contest and loads of info about how the mall is going to work, so do head over to check it out.
Right, I’m off to Sammy’s slumber party now to celebrate his bloggyversary! I hope you’ll stop by, its going to be pawesome! But don’t forget your pjs. Do you like my onesie? hehehe.

Posted: May 7, 2013 Filed under: walks | Tags: alaskan malamute, frisbee, litter, park, puppy, rubbish 62 Comments »Over the park this morning I found lots of litter scattered about and the bins overflowing. I guess that means lots of people had fun while I was at the seaside yesterday.
This always stresses mummy out as often glass bottles have been smashed so we have to be careful. But I’m a doggy with a positive attitude and sometimes you can find great stuff in other people’s rubbish. So I had a good rummage in here
And here
And here
Before mummy dragged me away I found a sandwich and a few sausage rolls – score!
Mummy said I was a greedy scavenger but I was just doing my bit for the environment by reducing the amount of rubbish being sent to land-fills:-)
She didn’t seem to mind so much when I found this cool frisbee.
Did you find anything on your walk today?
Off to the seaside
Posted: May 6, 2013 Filed under: walks | Tags: alaskan malamute, beach, puppy, sea, seaside 82 Comments »We’ve had beautiful weather this bank holiday weekend, so much so that mummy (who is permanently pasty white) has actually caught some sun! Today we decided to head to the seaside. We’re about an hour’s drive from the sea and mummy had been told about a beach with no dog restrictions, so we were pretty excited about the trip. However, when we arrived there was a big sign saying no dogs on the beach between 1st May and 30th Sept! So the trip didn’t quite go to plan.
The photos below are a bit deceptive, they make it look like we had the place to ourselves. That couldn’t have been more further from the truth: the whole area was packed with sun seekers, and every other person had their dog in tow. We managed to find a few quieter spots for a dip but I must confess I was a bit suspicious of the sea. Daddy bravely waded in to encourage me but I wasn’t too sure.
I hope I get to go back to the beach again but maybe next time we can find somewhere quieter without any restrictions.
How did you spend your bank holiday weekend?
Thank dog its friday:-)
Posted: May 3, 2013 Filed under: food | Tags: alaskan malamute, design, ducks, header, jones natural chews, puppy 61 Comments »This week has been all about duck chasing! The other day I was playing in the stream and one flew past my nose, I would’ve caught it too if it weren’t for mummy pulling me back:-( This is a terrible photo but the ducks flew to safety on the other side of the stream and I sat watching them.
Ever since I’ve been in duck hunting mode, so watch out duckies I’m coming to get you!
I need to send out a massive thank you to Flea for sending me some of her delicious Jones Natural chews. Daddy picked the box up from the post office and it was packed with goodies! Check this out:
How AMAZING is that!! mummy tried to take some photos but failed miserably, this is probably the best of the bunch BOL:
Thank you so much Flea!!!
Thanks also for all the lovely comments about my new header. My uncle Andrew designed it for me, isn’t it cool? He’s a freelance designer and has recently started his own blog which is http://andrewgibbonsdesign.blogspot.co.uk/ he likes to talk about music t-shirts. Feel free to stop by and say hello, or perhaps you’d like to ask him to design you a header too…hint hint
Have a great friday all, and if you’re in the UK, enjoy the bank holiday weekend!
