Thanks for your get well messages to the mummy. For the last couple of days it’s been like living in a plague house. I’ve been close to painting a big cross on the door to warn people to stay away LOL.
But mummy’s rallied and she’s back at work now, coughing and spluttering over everyone there so they too can share in the wonder of the dreaded lurghy. Daddy has it too, though of course having the male strain it means he’s practically at death’s door. Can anyone say drama queen? So I’m stuck playing Nurse Misaki.
A few of you were asking if I got snow last week. Sadly we didn’t. Just rain. And according to the weather report we’re in for clear skies for the foreseeable future. I’m thinking of asking Animal Couriers to chauffeur me to America. Perhaps I could visit all my bloggy friends who have snow??
In the meantime, for any of you going to Crufts have a fab time. Looking forward to hearing all the news!
Last night it was pretty cold, as you can see from mummy’s phone. Well cold for her, not for me LOL
Mummy said her feet where like ice blocks so she snuggled up in the duvet on the sofa. I decided to help her out and curled up on her feet like a hot water bottle. I got so comfy that I feel asleep. Mummy was in heaven for the first five minutes. But you can’t please some people, and it wasn’t long before she was moaning that she couldn’t feel her feet anymore. Well at least they weren’t cold, right?
After she rudely removed her feet and ruined my snooze, I then decided to head upstairs and warm her pillow for her. When she came up to bed, she found me like this:
By this time I was so comfortable I didn’t want to move. Life is so unfair at times. You do something nice for someone and all you get is kicked off the bed:-(
Misaki, aka the unappreciated hot water bottle.
Keep warm everyone.
Mummy has a cold and is being very grumpy. She didn’t seem to appreciate this view first thing in the morning.
But sick or not, I still needed my breakfast. After begrudgingly sorting that out she then went back to bed again, forgetting about my morning walk! So I had to wake her up again. Somedays I wonder what she’d do without me.
As well as needing to stretch my legs, I figured some fresh air would be good for her. We had a good walk and I even made friends with a Sibe called Oz, who I totally beat at wresting:-) But afterwards did she thank me for motivating her? No. Talk about ungrateful! I’ve spent the whole day doing my best to make her feel better: earlier I even curled up next to her on the sofa and kept her feet warm – something I NEVER do!
I hope she hurries up and feels better, not sure I like this grumpy version of mummy! The good thing is Grampy is coming over tomorrow, and I know he appreciates me :-)
This morning it was -6°c when mummy and I went for our morning walk. But silly mummy forgot her gloves!! She was moaning and groaning something terrible, so I decided we should just walk extra fast:-) At first mummy wasn’t too impressed, but soon she was trotting along beside me quite happily, she could feel her fingers again and had nice rosy cheeks. I wish we could always walk at double time, but mummy is getting on a bit so I don’t want her to overdo it.
With all the fist clenching and grumbling, mummy didn’t take any photos. So instead here’s a photo of me and daddy at class last night. Notice he’s wearing shorts BOL.
Now I’m home again I’m daydreaming about Mollie and Ranger‘s Valentine’s ball. I’m so excited!! Gizmo and I have decided on our outfits so we’re all set. Roll on 14th Feb! Who are you taking? If you’re in need of a date, head over to Mollie or Ranger and they’ll help you find one! Looking forward to seeing you all there!
According to mummy’s phone it was -6°C this morning. I think that’s about 22°F. The ground was lovely and crunchy.
In our garden I found some frosted spiderwebs, how cool is that!
Mummy was cold but I loved it, admittedly my belly was chilly but I just walked extra fast;-) Plus I met my friend Henry and we had a bit of a chase about.
Tonight I’m back at training class which I’m super excited about. Can’t wait to see all my friends again:-)
Hope you are all keeping warm!
I’ve had a strange few days, mostly because my human mummy has had something called a cold. It seems to involve her nose being wet, talking with a funny voice and making weird noises into tissues. The best thing about it is that she stayed home from work on friday, and we snuggled on the sofa together for most of the weekend<3 I hope she stays cold forever:-)
Then on saturday, the grass shrunk! I still don’t understand what happened to it, but my human daddy says with the amount of rain we have, it will soon grow back. Does that mean it fell out?? I’ll definitely have to keep an eye on that in future.
And yesterday, when my human mummy and I came back from our walk, we found ourselves locked out! She’d forgotten her keys and my daddy wasn’t answering the door. Would we have to live in a cardboard box?? Luckily after lots of knocking and calling, he finally answered. Apparently he’d fallen asleep! What a silly billy!
Today mummy went back to work:-( She still talks funny, but luckily my daddy is on holiday. He needs to wait in for the new dishwasher, which I find a bit offensive as I thought it was MY job to lick all the dishes…! Anyway, hopefully he won’t fall asleep and forget to feed me. Now that could be disastrous!
