Thank you to everyone who helped with the ‘save Leo’ campaign. Whether you re-blogged, posted, tweeted, facebooked, donated money, items, bought raffle tickets or placed bids in the auction. It has all helped and made it a huge success. And a massive thank you to Mollie who organised it all. Not only have we helped to save the life of this poor kitty but in true Mollie-style we’ve had loads of fun doing it too!

Have you been over to Mollie‘s to check if you won the raffle? No? Then what are you waiting for!!

Because of the raffle and auction, I completely forgot to post about a couple of awards I was given. But better late than never!

First of all the lovely piggies at Hutch a Good Life gave me the Shine on Award. Thanks guys!

And next is the Dragon Loyalty Award, which Nikitaland gave me. Thanks Nikita!

Today is the last day to bid at the Blogville auction and also to get your raffle tickets.

The auction has been loads of fun, with chaotic crazy bidding wars going on. I was hoping for something nice, maybe the doggie pebbles or a new lead…but no. Mummy decided to bid on Doggy‘s smelly pants! Work that one out…!

The auction closes at 1pm (UK time) today.

We’ll be announcing the raffle winners tomorrow along with the total that we’ve raised for Leo.

Now for your amusement, here’s a pic of me with a plastic fried egg on my head. Mummy seemed to think this would be appropriate – I worry about her sometimes!

The ice cream man came round yesterday – nom nom!

The Blogville Auction starts today, so head over to Mollie‘s and check out all the cool stuff for sale. Sadly no ice cream but I’m sure you’ll all find something to bid on. And don’t forget all the proceeds are going to help Savvy’s foster brother Leo.

There’s also still time to get your raffle tickets! Just drop me a line at misadventuresofmisaki@yahoo.co.uk if you want to buy some. They are $2 each and again all proceeds are going towards Leo’s medical care. The winners will be announced on wednesday.

Thank you to everyone who has helped out so far, its truly heartwarming that everyone has joined together to help this poor kitty in his fight for life.

2nd Park bingo – sort of

This morning we went to the park that I often go with my friend Lady. Although its about an hour’s walk, its only 10 minutes by car. And its right by Beckingham Palace

We attempted to complete another bingo card, but we substituted the park bench for the visit a park 10 minutes from your house box – I hope that’s allowed!

So, visit your nearest body of water:

I took a bit of a dip, but its way more fun to play in the water with friends.

Follow Gizmo’s blog: I was following Gizmo via email, but for some reason I missed a post or two, so to be on the safe side I also signed up to follow him on Bloglovin‘. I don’t know if you use Bloglovin’ but I find it really useful for those blogs that don’t have email subscriptions.

Find flowers: there wasn’t a nice bed of flowers, but the field was covered in buttercups. Hopefully that counts!

And lastly, find a butterfly. You’ll have to bigify this pic to see it, but there was a small white butterfly flitting around, which we just managed to snap a pic of. It is pretty small though.

Wasn’t quite as smooth as my first park bingo post, but hope it still counts.

As well as the auction (see yesterday’s post), we’re also holding a raffle to raise funds for Leo. You can read all about Leo over at Savannah’s.

1st prize – a £50 (or $ equivalent) Amazon voucher donated by My Three Moggies

2nd prize – A cartooned Mouse Pad of your pet from Mollie and Alfie

Tickets cost $2 each or $9 dollars for 5 (All proceeds are going directly to Savannah for the vet bills of Leo. Please see yesterdays post for details)

In the meantime I thought I’d introduce to you a new buddy of mine, he’s a 16 week old basset hound puppy. Isn’t he a cutie.

This pic makes it look like I was about to go demonic on him, but actually he spent most of the time sitting on my head BOL.

Auction

You may have seen over at Mollie‘s yesterday that we’re having a Blogville auction to raise money to help Savannah‘s peeps pay for Leo’s medical bills. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, head over to Savvy‘s and read up on her foster brother Leo’s situation.

Mollie has come up with the pawesome idea of having an auction and a raffle. And already she has been so inundated with people donating items she’s asked me to help!

Do you have anything you can donate to the auction? It could be an unwanted Christmas present, something you’ve had in the attic for years or even something you’ve made. You’ll need to post the item to the winning bidder so its worth considering the size and weight of the item in question before pledging it.

Please send in a photo, description and a price in Dollars what the starting bid should be to me at misadventuresofmisaki@yahoo.co.uk by Friday 17th.

It should be a really fun event so I hope you will all get involved, whether by donating something or bidding on some of the items for auction. And most of all we’ll be supporting our good friend Savannah save the life of poor Leo.

Furballs!

Due to the crazy weather we’ve been having, I’m blowing my coat again hehehehe! I love it when our carpet changes to that lovely shade of Misaki:-) Here’s a pic of me having a nice brush. And if last time is anything to go by, then this is just the beginning!

I’ve been saving up all my fur as Mummy has found someone locally who can spin it. I’m hoping that in the not too distant future she’ll have enough to make a Misaki scarf. How cool will that be!

All About Dogs

Today I went to the All About Dogs show in Brentwood.

We got there early and only stayed a couple of hours as it started to get hot and was crazy busy. But I had loads of fun. I made lots of friends, most of all with a giant malamute called Mick – seriously he was twice the size of me! I also had a go at an agility course. I wasn’t too sure at first but by the end of it I started to get the hang of what I was supposed to do, I think daddy was more tired than me lol.

We had such a great time, apparently there’s another in July so am hoping we can go to that one too:-)

Park day 2.0

You’ll be pleased to hear that my park has now fully recovered from the ‘trashing’ it received at the weekend and all is back to normal! So I decided to do my first Park Day 2.0 post which is hosted by my boydawg Gizmo and the lovely Finn.

I picked bingo card 4 and went for an easy row.

1. Follow Finn‘s blog – CHECK

2. Like Kong premium treats on facebook - CHECK

3. Park bench. This marks a free space but I thought I’d include one anyway:-) - CHECK

4. Find a monument or sculpture. There are a couple in my park but I chose the war memorial - CHECK

5. Take a walk in a nature reserve. Yep we have one of those too - CHECK

And that makes BINGO! So there we have it, my first park day 2.0 post. Are you taking part?
