Egg head!

Today is the last day to bid at the Blogville auction and also to get your raffle tickets.

The auction has been loads of fun, with chaotic crazy bidding wars going on. I was hoping for something nice, maybe the doggie pebbles or a new lead…but no. Mummy decided to bid on Doggy‘s smelly pants! Work that one out…!

Anyway, just to let you know that I’m helping to moderate the bids so if you are confused about who the highest bidder is or have any questions about the bidding process feel free to drop me a line: misadventuresofmisaki@yahoo.co.uk

The auction closes at 1pm (UK time) today.

We’ll be announcing the raffle winners tomorrow along with the total that we’ve raised for Leo.

Now for your amusement, here’s a pic of me with a plastic fried egg on my head. Mummy seemed to think this would be appropriate – I worry about her sometimes!

2013-05-20 19.20.38Sorry I haven’t had much change to get round to see you all but I hope to get back on track soon. In the meantime, happy bidding!

Parcel!

I always get super excited when I get a parcel. So I was going crazy when this arrived:

It was my prize from Mollie for the Valentine’s Ball! Thank you Mollie:-)

I’ve had loads of fun playing with my new ball on a rope. The ball is pretty hard and mummy was convinced I was going to knock myself out BOL

Don’t forget to send in your photos for Ranger and Stuarts beach birthday party. And also for Sammy’s camping trip – they are both going to be super fun!!

Perky pig and other stuff

DSC_0122

This is my new friend Perky pig. Mummy bought him for me expecting him to only last 5 minutes, but I’ve had him for 2 days and he is still alive, admittedly he’s a bit dirty as you can see. He makes the most wonderful noise, a cross between an oink and a honk so it’s great to play with him while daddy is watching TV:-)

I’ve had a few awards recently, and although they are duplicates of ones I already have they are no less appreciated. I’ve listed these on my awards page, but namely these were from Speedy, Kirby, Trev and Peace, Love and Whiskers. Thank you all very much.

Both Speedy and Rumpy are up for the world spay day pageant, I’m voting for them in turn, I hope you will too.

And lastly, Oz is celebrating St Patrick’s day by writing limericks. If you want him to write one about you then drop him a line. All the details can be found here.

Right, daddy is about to watch something interesting on TV so its time to play with perky again:-)

My week…in pictures

This week has been crazy busy with the pancake party and the Valentine’s Ball. And now we’re straight into the circus – think I’m going to need a week to recover from all the excitement!

Outside of all that we had some snow, I had to go for my annual check-up and I got a new friend. Instead of waffling on I thought I’d show some photos instead. So here’s a taster of what I’ve been up to:-) Hope you had a good one too!

What’s wrong with this picture??

When I went to my nanny and grampy’s at the weekend, I met this fella:

Do you think they are trying to replace me??

Monster Attack!

The most terrifying thing happened. A monster broke into the house!!

SCARY!!!

SCARY!!!

But luckily I was around to deal with him and he wasn’t on the loose for long!

Sorted!

Sorted!

Phew! Wouldn’t want him hiding under the bed!

new tug toy

The other day Urban Hounds posted about how to make a homemade tug toy out of an old pair of jeans. As you may have gathered mummy isn’t very good at creative things, but as she had an old pair of jeans she can no longer fit in she thought she’d give it a go.

I won’t go too much into how to make it as the instructions in Urban Hounds‘s post are pretty straighforward – put it this way, mummy managed to make it first time without a hitch!

Thanks for the great idea UH! I LOVE my new tug toy, and I haven’t managed to kill it yet – I’m giving it a good thrashing though:-)

I think I'm winning mummy!

I think I’m winning mummy!

Have you made one too?

Ps, I have recently joined BlogPaws – I’m still trying to find my feet on there, but if you have a profile please do look me up. Hopefully this link will take you to my page: http://community.blogpaws.com/profile/Misaki

Mystery of the missing kong

When I was younger I had a red kong. It was a ball with a hole in it perfectly sized for a small biscuit. I loved it and played with it constantly. But one day it went missing and mummy couldn’t find it anywhere. She knew how much I’d loved it so she bought me another one. But within a week or two that was gone too. It wasn’t replaced:-(

Anyway, yesterday I was playing with a squeaky ball in the kitchen when it disappeared. Mummy couldn’t find it anywhere, and I was pretty sad. But she noticed I kept looking at the corner of the cabinets. When she looked, there’s a small hole at the bottom where the two ends meet. And sure enough inside the gap there was my squeaky ball!

But even more amazing was that behind it were both my red kongs! Woohoo! Daddy blocked up the gap as best he could and mummy washed the kongs.

I haven’t stopped playing with them since:-) Unfortunately I was last seen with them in the kitchen…

Uh oh! I think I lost it again!

Uh oh! I think I lost it again!

Happy new year everyone!!

Prof hippo has lost his head!

Something terrible has happened! And I’m so worried that it’s going to put me on the naughty list!

Earlier Prof Hippo and I were playing nicely:

Me and Prof Hippo

Then I got distracted by daddy eating a bag of crisps, and when I went back to find Prof Hippo, he looked like this:

Oh the horror!

2012-12-23 13.46.26

Prof Hippo the headless

Who could’ve done this?? I can only think that those evil birds have been round again, but how did they get in??

I hope Santa doesn’t think it was me!
