Thank dog its friday:-)
Posted: May 3, 2013 Filed under: food | Tags: alaskan malamute, design, ducks, header, jones natural chews, puppy 61 Comments »This week has been all about duck chasing! The other day I was playing in the stream and one flew past my nose, I would’ve caught it too if it weren’t for mummy pulling me back:-( This is a terrible photo but the ducks flew to safety on the other side of the stream and I sat watching them.
Ever since I’ve been in duck hunting mode, so watch out duckies I’m coming to get you!
I need to send out a massive thank you to Flea for sending me some of her delicious Jones Natural chews. Daddy picked the box up from the post office and it was packed with goodies! Check this out:
How AMAZING is that!! mummy tried to take some photos but failed miserably, this is probably the best of the bunch BOL:
Thank you so much Flea!!!
Thanks also for all the lovely comments about my new header. My uncle Andrew designed it for me, isn’t it cool? He’s a freelance designer and has recently started his own blog which is http://andrewgibbonsdesign.blogspot.co.uk/ he likes to talk about music t-shirts. Feel free to stop by and say hello, or perhaps you’d like to ask him to design you a header too…hint hint
Have a great friday all, and if you’re in the UK, enjoy the bank holiday weekend!
Down the pub
Posted: April 16, 2013 Filed under: food | Tags: alaskan malamute, meal, pub, puppy 92 Comments »Most pubs have outside seating which means doggies like me can sit and enjoy a pint;-) But very few pubs allow dogs inside. Except for the one down the road from us which is completely doggie friendly! So the other day we decided to see how I’d react if mummy, daddy, nanny and grampy had a meal while I was with them.
I think it will take a couple more trips to get comfortable and ‘settle down’ as daddy kept asking me to do, but it was fun to be able to join them for a meal rather than being left home as usual.
Pancake party
Posted: February 12, 2013 Filed under: food, friends | Tags: alaskan malamute, pancakes, party, shrove tuesday 68 Comments »Today it’s Shrove Tuesday aka pancake day, so I decided to invite a few friends over for a pancake eating party:-)
While waiting for everyone to arrive I made a start with the mixture.
I guess we’d better try that again…
I guess we’d better make some more. Speedy and Mollie can you grab some more mixture please?
After a quick bath, clean up and a new batch of mixture made, finally we had pancakes:-)
Thanks to Gizmo, Speedy, Sammy and Mollie for coming to my pancake party! How many pancakes did you have? And do you have a favourite topping?
UPDATE: Don’t forget to head over to Mollie‘s for all the news of the Valentine’s Ball. You’re more than welcome to vote for me and Gizmo:-)
Pupcakes!
Posted: February 6, 2013 Filed under: food | Tags: alaskan malamute, doggy cupcakes, puppy 80 Comments »Thank you all so much for your kind words about my first gotcha day. I am super lucky to have found a good home. But also lucky to have great friends too:-)
To celebrate my special day, mummy made me some doggy cupcakes. Now, first of all I should explain that when I say ‘made’ she just added water to a mix BOL!
They are apple and cinnamon flavoured and they came out pretty well, considering mummy can’t cook:
Please ignore the Christmas plate (all the others are in the dishwasher and you can find out why on the 12th!)
But of course the proof is in the pudding or in my case, the tasting:
Yep, they work for me – thanks mummy!
Just a few days to go till the Valentine’s ball, and I’m so excited about my date with Gizmo! But I’ve just realised I haven’t made him a valentine’s card yet so I guess that’s what I’ll be doing today! Will you be sending any valentine’s cards this year?
The nose knows!
Posted: January 27, 2013 Filed under: food | Tags: alaskan malamute, nose, oil painting, puppy, Sheila Wedegis, smell 51 Comments »My uncle Andrew came over yesterday and I KNEW he had something yummy in his pocket. But he denied it. I keep getting a waft of something delish and I was drooling from the smell radiating off him. I had to wait AGES before he finally remembered that my Grampy had given him a treat to give to me and he’d put it in his pocket. Silly humans. I knew all along it was there! My nose can smell a treat in a 5 mile radius:-)
To celebrate the amazingness of my nose, the very talented Sheila Wedegis has immortalised it in oil for part of her painting challenge
How cool is that?
She’ll do yours too, you just have to send her a photo. Check out her blog for more details.
Smell you later!
Sprouts and fur
Posted: December 29, 2012 Filed under: food, Uncategorized | Tags: alaskan malamute, blowing coat, fur, puppt, sprouts 72 Comments »I’ve been super busy the last few days and haven’t had a chance to get round and see you all. Neither have I had a chance to reply to all your lovely comments. But I am trying to catch up and hope to be back up to speed soon.
As well as visiting family and friends, I’ve been trying sprouts, not too sure about them though.

As you can see I’m not that impressed!
I’m also in the process of blowing my winter coat and so there is fur everywhere hehehehe!

I’m getting brushed lots which I pretend I don’t like (in the hope of treats) but really I do:-)
Hope you are all enjoying the holidays! My advice is avoid the sprouts bol.
My first Wagg review:-)
Posted: December 11, 2012 Filed under: food, review | Tags: alaskan malamute, puppy, treats, wagg 62 Comments »As I mentioned recently I’m now an official Wagg reviewer!
And It’s time for my very first review. Exciting! Are you sitting comfortably? Then I’ll begin.
The very dashing Dalton, face of Wagg (and possible future husband) sent me 3 packs of his brand new biscuits appropriately called Wagg’mmms to try out. Before the box was even opened my nose started twitching and I did my best to ‘help’ mummy open it.

First of all these are a great size: not too small (though I wouldn’t complain if they were bigger!) And they come in three flavours – chicken, salmon and liver. Like most doggies I LOVE liver and although I like all three biscuits, it’s the liver ones that are definitely my favourite. I had to make a video for the Wagg website in which I gobbled down lots of treats that were laid out for me. I annoyed mummy greatly by ruining her idea and instead of eating each one in turn I targetted the liver ones first! I think that says it all.
You can see my video here:
I can’t rate these highly enough. Mummy has nearly lost several fingers while I tried them. Of course I had to try quite a few to fully form my opinion

this was supposed to be a photo of the biscuits but I accidentally ate them just as mummy clicked the button
I’m hoping to be able to give some away in a competition very soon, so watch this space!
In the meantime you can find out more info about Wagg’mmms over at Dalton’s bloggy.
Thanks for reading!
Changing allegiances
Posted: November 15, 2012 Filed under: food | Tags: alaskan malamute, puppy, treats, wagg 66 Comments »As you know, I’ve always been a strong supporter of the Bonio. But I wrote to them a few months ago asking for a job as a tester and was turned away (without even sending me a free sample box as compensation!!) Everytime I’ve taken a bite of one since it’s left a bittersweet taste.
But now the rather dashing Dalton, face of Wagg (and possible future husband) has asked me to become an official reviewer of their products woohoo:-) So it’s bye-bye Bonio and hello Wagg! And I have this lovely badge to prove it:-)
Over the coming months I’m hoping to be able to eat lots of treats objectively review some of their products and maybe arrange a competition or two! I’ve been told something exciting is on it’s way to me from Wagg so I’m keeping an eye on the door.
Have a good day all!
UPDATE: Don’t forget to head over to Doggy’s to vote in the Greatest Contest of All Time!!!!! Good luck choosing who to vote for, all the entries are fab!
Empty!
Posted: November 9, 2012 Filed under: competition, food | Tags: alaskan malamute, bandanas, celebrations, chocolates, competition, puppy, treats 55 Comments »Ate them all:-)
No, not really. Sadly mummy and daddy had already polished them off before I got to have a look in – what meanies they are!
Don’t forget to enter Doggy‘s fabulous competition to win some of Mollie‘s dog treats and bandanas!! If you haven’t already checked it out, you have to make a very short story out of these crazy words:
Mollie, Vamp, Swamp, Patron (tequila), Catfish
Here’s mine:
‘After successfully catching a catfish from the swamp, Mollie returned home to make her gumbo. She stirred the pot while knocking back a shot of Patron and accidentally elbowed in an extra garlic bulb. Oh well, she thought, at least that will keep the vamps away tonight!’
What will you write??
Don’t delay, enter today!
Treats and Bandanas
Posted: November 6, 2012 Filed under: competition, food | Tags: alaskan malamute, bandana, competition, puppy, treats 38 Comments »I’ve mentioned a few times that Mollie‘s mummy makes the most nomalicious homemade treats. And she also makes pawesome bandana’s like the one I’m wearing in my avatar pic:
Anyway, the reason for mentioning this is that Doggy, the self-confessed competition addict, is finally hosting his own contest! And not only that, there are TWO prizes to be won, each consisting of £20 worth of Mollie‘s treats and bandanas!! How cool is that!
To find out how to win, head over to Doggy’s for all the details. And in the meantime you might want to stop by Mollie‘s to start working out what you want if you win. Or you could just buy some anyway:-)
Good luck!!
