Hoorag fun

While he’s home we are going to practice me running alongside his bike. This is something he wants us to do more of as I get bigger. We’ve only taken a few slow rides so far and I haven’t quite got the hang of riding by his side, I’d much rather lead hehehe:-)
The other good thing is that he’s free to pick me up from Camp so at least I don’t have to walk ALL the way home! Btw don’t forget to pop by Sammy‘s and vote for your favourite tent and for the scary poem contest.
In the meantime, thank you to Pawistively Pets for my Hoorag! I won their competition a couple of weeks ago. So thought I would try it out:
Hoorags are pretty versatile, and you can wear them in a number of ways but I preferred the classic look. Mummy tried to turn me into a pirate, but I ended up looking like I had no ears BOL.
Have a great day everyone!

3 weeks holiday..Wow.. You look like an Italian Peasant lady in the last photo..Bawahhaaaa xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
I know lucky for some! Mummy still has to work though:-(
Hahaha you’re right I do look like a peasant! Isn’t mummy mean to me!
Jolly smart hoorag! We agree, the earless look isn’t great, especially when the ears are so magnificent
Awww thanks AC<3
Just been over to Sammy’s blog and LOVE your tent!
BOL thank you! I did sort of overpack!!
That is cool having dad home for three weeks. Hooray for the hoorag you look well cool Misaki. Have a marvelous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Oh thanks Molly! Mummy was moaning cos I’m not as good as posing as you BOL
Oh wow that is super cool, 3 weeks with Dad! We thought we were lucky because we have an upcoming weeks stayation with our rents, next week, but you are super lucky
urban hounds
Yeah, its going to be pretty cool!
That guy is so cute… and he has a very friendly face… nice pics!
Aww thank you!
If anyone can pull the ‘i’m meant to be a pirate but just look like i have no ears’ look then it is you!
Oh you are so sweet Dalton!
Oh Misaki……I think the classic look for the hoorag is much better than the earless look! Your ears are too pretty to hide!! Glad your Dad will be able to pick you up from camp. Tomorrow night is the big bonfire then Wednesday morning we’ll all be making our way back home……..no doubt you and your Dad will get that bike-run thing sorted quickly – it sounds like fun…….
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
I’ll be sad to leave Sammy, I’ve been having such a great time! But I’ll definitely be glad to go the easy way home:-)
Have fun with your dad!
Thanks Ems!
Hehehe looking good. Maybe your Mummy needs to work on her technique! Luckily you are cute enough to pull off any look.
Have a great day,
Nibbles, Nutty, Buddy & Basil
xxxx
Aww thanks guys! I think I definitely need more treats before we try that again!
I think your mum was right – the look is very you
Too cute xo
Aww thanks Cat <3
It’s such fun having your dad home for 3 weeks! Mine has been home for 6 weeks, but he’s going back to work later this week. Love your hoorag!
The worst bit is when they have to go back isn’t it. Shame they can’t stay with us always:-(
Three weeks off work! Misaki, can you imagine all the fun you’ll have?!
Piggy kisses,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig
It’s going to be pawesome!
Oh Misaki…you look darling as a pirate!!! I got the same hoo-rag from Pawsitively Pets too! I bet you are going to love running alongside dad while he is biking. I, however, prefer riding in my basket on the back of mom’s bike. I “hang ten” and catch the wind in my face!
*Cairn cuddles*
Oz
OOOH I like the sound of being a backseat driver. I wonder if they make a basket big enough for me? Then daddy can do all the work BOL
That Hoorag is very pretty on you. Try not to kill your daddy when he’s on the bike. When I was little I tried to kill my mom by zigzagging in front of her when we walked. Then she took me to obedience school, so I could learn to walk nicely.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Last time we went out on the bike I sort of tried to chase a squirrel BOL. But I will try not to kill daddy if I can help it:-)
You look great with your Hoorag!!! I think it’s the perfect look for a future “biker-dog”. Good luck for the bike-experiment ;o)
Do you think it will make me more aero-dynamic??
of course and your ears are covered if your dad has a speed-bike ;o)
the last photo is HILARIOUS!
Isn’t mummy mean to me!
Running by the bike sounds so fun! I get really tired pulling my humans on the scooter so maybe we’ll try the bike too.
Nora
I’m just worried mummy is going to want me to pull her along! She keeps looking at the abandoned tesco trolley we pass everyday and then looks at me…hope she’s not getting ideas!
Wow, a whole 3 weeks off at once? That’s so cool, you are going to have a great time I’m sure of it.
Aren’t Hoorags the silliest thing to cover your ears? We got one in a giveaway when Boomer was recovering from his surgery and it helped to keep his shaved neck warm in the Kansas wintery weather.
Very stylish!! And good luck with the bike riding, running. That will be fun if you get the hang of it.
I hope it will be, thanks Roxy!
WooHoo Misaki 3 days with Dad to do fun stuff. Good luck with the bike/run event.
Hugs Madi your BFFF
Thanks Madi!
Loving that smile and that pirate photo!
Thanks guys:-)
Tee! Hee! Yous looks a little funny with no ears in your hoorag! But it is furry nice around your neck.
Kisses
Nellie
Thanks Nellie!
Hehe – the pirate look is cute on you, but I do like the classic better too I think. Glad the Hoorag made it to you safely. Have fun with your dad Misaki!
Aww thanks Ann, and thanks again for my hoorag:-)
THREE WEEKS …. wow a lot of attention
jealous
Yep, its going to be heavenly:-)
Misaki that is great, to have Dad to play with and spend time with for 3 weeks. Just enjoy everything you do together:-)
Thanks guys, I will do:-)
Quick question… do you work with your dog ? I mean do you go running with him… just read up about the malamute dogs and I learned that they need a lot of exercise… can you tell me a little about your experience… thank you in advance…
Not at the moment. Its not advised to do any serious exercise with mallies till they are fully grown, and I’m not quite there yet. Once I am, daddy plans to jog with me and have me run with him on his bike. We may look into agility classes too.
Sorry asking all those questions… just since I started following your blog a little… I kinda got interested in the malamutes and after 3 retrievers it would be nice to maybe look at an alternative… even though they are supposed to be quite stubborn… so it says…
lol yes we can be very stubborn indeed!
Oh Misaki, you look like a French peasant woman!! mol
BOL!!!
What fun you will have with Dad – lucky guy to have three weeks off!!! Not sure if you have them there, but the Springer is a good way to have a pup ride alongside the bike and keep you there.

Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Thanks for that, someone mentioned you could get an attachment, but daddy couldn’t remember the name of it. Will check it out, thanks:-)
Hiya Misaki! Congrats on winning the HooRag! You look great in it, by the way! (Mom tried the pirate look on me too – I ended up looking like a seal!)
your pal,
Garth
Yeah the pirate look isn’t great for us doggies BOL
Have I told you how cute you are lately?! Well YOU ARE!! BOL
Kisses,
Ruby
Awww Rubes <3
Aww congrats and I love the pirate misaki look .
Hehehe thankies:-)
wats diz a fashion accessorie i wuznt aware of????
You would look fantastic in a hoorag!
You don’t look too pleased about having your ears squashed! It wasn’t your mummy’s best idea ever! It looks great worn round your neck.
Thanks Clowie, yes it wasn’t one of mummy’s better ideas BOL
it looks best around your neck Misaki, but you’re also in for a load of fun too 3 weeks worth!xx Speedy
You look great in your hoo rag!
Have fun with your dad!
You are one lucky dog! 3 weeks with Dad, learning to ride a bike – oh wait, I guess you won’t be riding. And a hoorag! I never heard of a hoorag. I guess it’s a fun thing to have?!
Tasha here! Mom has pictures of me in my hoorag, its bright red. She finally figured out how to get the pictures out of her camera and can put it on the blog.
Your hoorag looks a lot better on you than mine does on me…On me it looks like a skirt, which would be OK if I was a gurldawg but, well you know i’m not BOL! so I gave mine to Momz and she does the pirate thing with it
I would NEVER let my Mom dress me up as a pirate! You are very patient! She tried to get me to wear sth hideous and green for St Pats but I put my paw down- and so did Rufus and Charlie. There are limits and covering our ears is definately Off limits as is greenandhideous!
What’s with Mum’s and wanting us to dress up all the time? Don’t we look cool as we are?
Great that you’re gonna run with your Dad, I loooove to run in the mornings, when I was starting the vet said I could start with half a mile and increase by another half every two weeks, now I think I could run further than Mum! Tee Hee
Have fun,
Your pal Snoopy
