miserable monday

He’s been off for the past two weeks which has been great fun, but now its a miserable Monday for me:-( He works an early shift so I’m not on my own for too long between mummy heading off to work and daddy getting home, but even so…
I’m going to sit here an chew up this plastic bottle until I hear the car pull up. And then I’ll jump all over him and try to convince him not to go to work tomorrow – do you think it will work??
Anyway, my good friend Gizmo has switched to a self-hosted site which you can find here: http://www.terriertorrent.com please do pop by and say hello if you get a chance.
Tomorrow is a special day for me. I hope you’ll stop by to find out why:-)

Misaki I am sorry your Dad had to go back to work, you will be ok! I am worried about you chewing plastic bottles though!! Don’t swallow it! Can’t wait to hear about your special day tomorrow. We have a special day tomorrow too! Barks and licks and love, Dakota
No need to worry, I spit the bits out and leave them all over the carpet for mummy to walk on hehehehe:-)
Looking forward to hearing about your special day too!
Enjoy your chewy bottle Misaki. Not long before dad is home. Have a marvelous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
You too Molly. Hope you got to chase some squiggle today!
Chewing the bottle is probably better than chewing your nails, Misaki! Will be back tomorrow
I guess so Austin!
You can always go find Mommies romance novels and chew up a few, great pass time Misaki
xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
hehehe, if she hadn’t hidden them away (she likes to pretend she DOESN’T read them) I probably would have:-)
Uhoh…..Misaki I can’t imagine that your Daddy would see that mess you made chewing the bottle up in frustration AND if you give him “THE LOOK” that he wouldn’t change his mind and stay home with you…….good luck with this project…….can’t wait to hear if it works!!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
I hope so Sammy! Keep your paws crossed for me
Poor Misaki – but I’m afraid you plan will not work. Sadly humans have to do this annoying thingy named “work” till they win in the lottery, com into a big inheritance or win at Britain’s got Talent. Maybe your dad can sing, dance, juggle or he is able to swallow home appliances like toasters or the dishwasher – then he should try to win this show. No more work – and anytime is “Misaki-Time” ;o)
I love your idea and think daddy should start training:-)
but it’s better to use a loaded dishwasher – just in case ;o)
Aww I feel the same when my mummy has to go to work after being of work for a while. But the guilt comes in handy when it comes to extra treats and fun walks at the weekend! wags and sniffs, Toby xox
Good point Toby!
I don’t like it when my mom leaves, I sit in my window and wait for her to return, my sister does not seem to mind, though. You will adjust to the routine again…use the alone time to rest up for when your parents are back home!
I like to sit by the window and wait too:-)
I think your plan just might work Misaki! I have yet to visit Gizmo’s new site, but am going to head over their soon.
I hope it does Ann!
Oh no, go back to work? We hope you get some special treats to make up for it!
Oink oink,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig
Me too!
Awwwww, I’m sorry Misaki. That’s no fun at all. I can’t wait to see what your special day is.
Thanks Roxy, pop back tomorrow and you’ll find out:-)
It’s very sad when our humans have to go to work. I try my hardest EVERY morning to convince Momma to stay home, but it usually doesn’t work. SIGH!
It doesn’t work for me either:-(
Wes has to wait for tomorrow!?!
Oh Well, and don’t chew too many of those bottles. Me hears they are like peanuts, after y0ous had one, yous just can’t stop.
Kisses
Nellie
Hehehehe, I love plastic bottles. I especially like leaving the broken bits in the carpet so mummy treads on them BOL
We are sorry that your dad has to go back to work:( Our mom used to go to work and we hated to be left alone! But now she works from home and we are very, very happy!
you’re so lucky, I wish mine worked from home too!
OK, so they don’t go to work. That means no food for you, ever. No toys and no road trips in the car. The good news is that it means no vet.
You make a good point Kyla. And I sure do like food…
Poor you, I hope your bottle lasted long enough.
I had a kong too…
I expect he missed you, Misaki!
I hope so Clowie!
Oh Misaki…I hope daddy comes home soon. It’s hard to convince the dads not to go to work but I bet, if he could, he would stay home with you all the time!
I wish he would stay home all the time, we’d have loads of fun:-)
Those bottles make such great crunchy sounds, don’t they? Just don’t swallow some (like I did) and end up in the ER (like I did).
Oh noes Sage! I’ll be extra careful
I just spit out the bits so mummy ends up walking on all the sharp edges BOL
Well that’s just rude – going off to work and leaving you behind Misaki. Poor thing. They don’t know how lucky they are that all you are chewing on is a plastic bottle
Litchi, you’re right it is rude that they go to work! I’m thinking of barricading the door with all my toys tomorrow so they can’t leave:-)
Misaki…boo on work but hey someone has to work to keep you in the life style to which you have become accustomed. MOL That is what I told me peeps as I lovingly sent them on their way out the door before they retired
Hugs madi
hehehe Madi, I guess you’re right!
It’s hard when Mum and Dad have to go to work. But, because they go to work, that means you get lots of yummy food and cool toys to play with. So take your frustration out on that plastic bottle and know that Mum & Dad miss you even more when they are away! Woof. PS Is tomorrow your birthday?
I’m usually Ok with them going to work, but as daddy’s been off for ages I’ve kinda got used to him being around…
No, its my gotcha day:-)
Oh, poor gurl!! I do the same things with the paper recycling!! Doesn’t work for me either…
Kisses,
Ruby
I tried, but he still went to work this morning *sigh*
Even if you can’t convince Daddy to stay home tomorrow, at least if you jump a lot and give him lots of kisses and cuddles, he may not notice the chewed up plastic bottle.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
I did loads of jumping when he came home. But I think he likes it too much…
Sorry about your Dad going to work… it’s tough to have to be on your own even if it’s for a few hours. I know when I go back to work either full time or part time Boomer and Dottie will have some adjusting to do.
Least they have each other though. I’m an only dog:-(
That’s true… I know that if your Mom and Dad had the choice they would stay home with you and do fun things… most doggie parents would.
Well, I like it when the humans go to work b/c then I can nap all day and be SO SO SO WILD WHEN THEY GET HOME. Just try that! They love it so much.
Nora
Hehehehe, I do go a bit crazy when they get home. And when they’re not home I get the bed to myself…:-)
Momz took one of those bottles and put it into one of my old stuffies that I’d destuffed…that was a fun toy for a while till i crunched up the bottle…it’s nice that your folks work different shifts so you don’t spend too much timealone…thanks you so much for telling everyone about my new blogsite…that was so sweet of you…Can’t wait to see what your special day will be *hugs*
hehehe aren’t bottles fun. I have a bottle holder thingy too, but
No probs, I hope the new site is working out well for you xxx
Dear Misaki,
It is always better when the people are a home. Why can’t they be home all the time?
Licks,
Cobi
I don’t know:-( But I wish they were!
Dear Misaki,
We think that you are very lucky not to be alone too long. Our people abandon us all day and it is horrible. we hope your bottle brings you comfort. Lee and Phod
Oh noes:-( But at least you have each other to play with…
Oh I don’t like it when anyone from my family goes off to work either. Mom is usually home with me, but sometimes she has to go out and I just count the minutes until she comes home. I like it best when everyone in the family is here with me.
I do think your dad might think twice about leaving you again!
I hope so daisy!
Misaki,
I don’t think the chewed up bottle is going to do the trick. You need a new plan…..hmmm. I’m trying to think of something….
Wyatt
OK…I hope you come up with something good!
Aw! Sorry to hear that your Dad had to go back to work and you’ll miss him! I bet he’ll be home before you know it!
Yeah I guess so, still not sure about the work thing though
You know what Misaki? I understand COMPLETELY! My Human was off for 2+ weeks around Christmas time and I LOVED having her here at my back and call ALL the time. It’s a drag now that she has to go off to work when I want to play or get some brushies or just to annoy her. Shoot.
It’s so unfair, isn’t it Spitty? They are so inconsiderate!
a sad day for Misaki. I feel your pain.
it is indeed:-(
bummer Misaki…pawrents have to go make biskit money…unless they are like mine and done with that…now all we have is kitty kibble money…MOL…hope Dad was in a forgiving spirit…and don’t eat that bottle
I guess so savvy! Hoping he’ll win the lottery so he can stay home with me all day everyday…
MOL hope his fortune is better than my dad’s
Hey Misaki! We are stopping by to say hello…and we are sorry to hear that you are having to spend some time alone…chewing on water bottles can be fun! But, make sure you spit out all of the pieces!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
Thanks so much for stopping by!
don’t worry I spit, mummy always moans cos she steps on all the bits BOL
Sorry to hear that your daddy has to go to work and leave you…but that’s the part which all humans have to do…be patience Misaki
I guess so *sigh*
Do you do the sad eyes when they leve? Typists dog does it to her every morning, nearly breaks her heart!
I’ll try…usually mummy gives me my kong as she’s leaving so I don’t feel sad till after she’s gone
Typists dog does it as he is being put outside, before being fed and given his treat toys!
Oh Misaki…I know how you feel…we miss our two-leggeds so so much…but I bet yours miss you as much as you miss them. Keep on chewing!
I wish I could go to work with them like you do *sigh*
Hi Misaki,
I understand how you feel Dude, but if he doesn’t go there won’t be any cookies and you don’t want that, right?!
Big wags,
Your pal Snoopy
I guess so Snoops
This is no fun at all! I don’t know why our people have to go do this work business…or go anywhere at all without us really.
Isn’t it rubbish, Remy
That’s a great post – thanks for sharing.
Eeoww Misaki did you convince (VBP) da Dad to stay home da next day??
Did you get in truuble fer chewin da bottle???
Lub Nylablue n Sherri-Ellen.
