A walk by the river

We’ve had quite a bit of rain so the ice has all washed away, that means the ground is very wet and in places the river has burst its banks. It was still fun though. And I had a great time playing in the long grass, daddy said I was like a grass shark BOL.
I love my Sunday walks. I wonder where we’ll go next week?

Oh what fun, everything is like a bog here too. x00x
Mollie and Alfie
Our garden is like a mud-slide BOL
You look so happy, Grass Shark! *giggles*
Daddy said it was so funny as all you could see was my tail bobbing around like a shark’s fin BOL
You certainly enjoy life, Misaki AKA Grass Shark!!
Hehehe I do like to have fun:-)
That looks like lots of fun. Did you go into the water? Did you have to have a b-b-b-bath when you got home?
Love and licks,
Cupcake
I wasn’t brave enough to go in the water. And although my paws were muddy by the time we got home it had mostly dried so I escaped the dreaded bath – yay!
Ohhh looks like great fun I wish I’d been there we could have been two grass sharks! bol Wags and sniffs, Toby xx
We would’ve had great fun Toby! None of the other doggies wanted to play with me so I had to bound around on my own
So long as you didn’t try to pounce on me straight away and we stuck to running around…you’re probably bigger than me! At least I know you wouldn’t try to hump me I reeeally don’t like that bol xx
I don’t like that either. There’s a dog round the corner from me who is always trying to jump my bones. I give him the ole stink eye and a good growl…but he still tries every time *sigh*
There are some who just don’t get the message, I used to see a huge German shepherd quite a lot who always tried to do it…he never got the idea I was into bitches even when I gave him a nip on the tail! At least if they’re small I can just shake them off
I tend to sit down when they try it on which throws them off their game.
Mummy had hoped that once I was ‘done’ they’d ignore me, but sadly it hasn’t
Grass Shark – that’s very clever. Litchi loves pretending she’s a grass shark. I’ll have to steal that one
I’m glad I’m not the only one!
you live in a most lovely area! I would love to take a walk with you! Barks and licks and love, Dakota
We don’t have a very big garden but luckily we live right near the park and the river’s not too far away. It’s good to be able to stretch my legs:-)
We’d have a great time playing in the grass together:-)
My park is just big muddy field. We need some sun and no more rain. Have a marvelous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
That sounds like my garden BOL.
have a good one too!
Looks like a great place to walk. Lee and Phod
It was really lovely, except it was windy which is probably the only weather type I’m not a fan of BOL
Misaki I don’t love snow like you do, but we sure do need the moisture! I would say from looking at your collage that life is GOOD!!!
I hope you get some rain soon, we’re bound to get loads (we did last year) so please help yourself to some of ours
Oh fun!!!! MUD!!!!!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
hehehe yep! Luckily not bad enough to warrant a bath though – phew!
Bummer we don’t live near each other as we have our long adventure walks on Saturdays…we could team up and have one each weekend day!
That would be pawesome Ems! I love having company on my walks and we’d have tonnes of fun together!
I like your place, it looks great ;o) It reminds me of the song “rollin’ on the river”
)
Hehehe Easy, that song always makes me want to dance! I hope they play it at the ball so we can have a boogie:-)
I hope so – I will swing my legs like a tornado ;o)
Rivers are the best! I can’t wait until it’s warm enough here for the Mom Person to let me loose in ours! Grass Shark! I like that!
I can’t wait to see the photos of you being a grass shark too!
Yeah — we just need the grass!
That looks a great place for a walk, Grass Shark!
It was lovely Clowie! Not too cold or too hot, but it was a bit windy which I’m not a massive fan of, especially when we were crossing the bridges BOL
That looks like tons of fun!
it really was Roxy:-)
That was so nice of you to take them for a walk. That looks like a lot of fun!
Oink oink,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig
Well my humans need the exercise and if I don’t get them up and moving they’d sit in front of the tv all day!
We got a lot of rain in the last two days. Pretty soon I’ll be a weed shark.
I’d love to see that!!
Super cool post. Love all those pics!
Nora
Thanks Nora, imagine if how much we’d have if you were there with me:-)
oooh fun walk Misaki
it was Speedy.
Hope you have a great time with your grandparents:-)
Now THAT is how Sunday afternoons are meant to be spent!
Most definitely:-)
How beautiful! You live in an absolutely gorgeous area!
Must admit we do have some really nice parks and forests nearby:-)
Grass shark eh? Bahaha!
Yep! You should’ve seen my tail bobbing around in the grass like a shark’s fin bol
I would love to ‘grass shark’ with you Misaki! Looks like you have a great place to do it!
Kisses,
Ruby
We’d have the best time Rubes!
Sounds like you really enjoy your Sunday walks.
I really do. My day-to-day walks are OK, but usually they are limited time and location-wise. But sundays are a free day for us so we can go further afield for one long walk and explore:-)
Beautiful pics!
I would never let Doggy of leash there, he’d jump in the river and I’d get Doggy popsicle.
Hehehe, if there had ducks on the river I think I would’ve jumped in too:-)
What a great walk! My hairy slobbery sisters would loves to go with yous! Our walk by the river is under a foot of snow!
Kisses
Nellie
I was going to say to tell her to join me, but I think I’ll pack my bags and come to yours instead so I can play in the snow with her instead
that’s a great walk…i’d have a great time running with you in that tall grass…
We sure would! And I heard that there’s some caches along the river too…
Hehe Misaki the grass shark! I like that!
You should’ve been my tail bobbing around in the grass. Daddy said it was funny, but mummy didn’t get any good shots
What a pretty walk
urban hounds
Thanks, it was a really lovely day, a little chilly (well mummy says she was chilly) but bright and dry:-)
I can see clearly that you are enjoying the walk A LOT!
It was great fun:-)
What fabulous photos of your walk Misaki. Looks like you had alot of fun!!! We are losing our snow here too…alot of slush….yuck!
I love that term: Grass Shark!! Your Dad is very clever.
Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue (she is snoozing so I sneaked on here!)
Hi Nylablue, sorry your snow is melting. Perhaps we should mount an expedition to the north pole to find some more:-)
Now there is an idea!!!! It is 35 F here & drizzly…supposed to warm up some more & then dropped 15 degrees tomorrow nite & flash freeze…not looking forward to that!!!! North Pole here we come!!!!
You take the most picturesque walks. We love seeing were you go. Enjoy your next walk.
Thank you:-) It sure is nice to explore
I looked your river up on Google, what a beautiful are you live in Misaki! Hope Mom and Dad can visit when they next travel to England
