Nice and muddy:-)

It’s been raining loads recently and all the fields nearby are swampy and of course muddy – my favourite!
I had a lovely run about

I chased some seagulls

Stomped about in some nice puddles

And most of all got nice and dirty – apologies for the following bum shot, but mummy wanted to include it to show how filthy I got!

I had such a great day. But as you can imagine, it ended quite traumatically with the B-word!! The good part about that (but please don’t tell mummy and daddy!) is that where I’m blowing my winter coat, the bath helped to get rid of loads of the loose hair which was a bit itchy. I gave them my saddest looks and was rewarded with lots of treats and cuddles:-)
Looks like 2013 is getting off to a good start!!

… and cute and happy!!!
Awww thank you:-)
You had so much fun!!
I really did! And I got Grampy nice and muddy too!
wow you have sun
Yes, it’s actually stopped raining…for the moment anyway!
Puddles? puddles should only be drunk out of not walked in thy make my paws feels funny! Oh no not the B-word! my mummy has been mentioning that recently but she seems to be waiting for something. Glad you’ve had so much fun! wags and sniffs xoxox
I do drink from them too, but jumping in them is fun! Unless daddy tries to clean my paws in them and then it’s a no-go!!
hope you avoid the bath!
Ohhh I won’t even step in them! I jump over them or go round them…if I have to walk through one I have to shake my paws off as soon as possible.
I’ll find a way to avoid it, I’m determined! lol xx
My goodness it is sure green where you are, we have adjusted to white snow, too bad you don’t have snow but at least you got some good mud!
Yes sadly no snow for us. But mud is just as good!
Yeah. My 2013 began with the b word too
Glad you enjoyed the mud – love your green grass. We don’t do grass that green in OZ.
I hope you got lots of treats and cuddles to make up for it!
You really do know how to work it, M.! The melting snow is making lots of mud around here, too. I’m not allowed to play in it. It’s just as we’ll if it ends in the b-word!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
But cuppycake, how can you resist! The bath is ALMOST worth the fun:-)
Great start to 2013 Misaki. Love the stomp in the puddle. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Thanks Molly! Have a good day too!
Looks like you had a lot of dirty, muddy FUN!!!! YAY!!! Even though you probably knew the “B” thing was going to happen at the end of the fun, it was worth it wasn’t it!! Happy New Year Misaki……
Love, Sammy
It really was Sammy! I had such a great time. Just wish those seagulls had come back so I could chase them again!
I wonder if seagulls taste as good as they look when they’re flying around in the sky??????? Tee Hee
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Probably! I recently saw a film called ‘Eight Below’ where a pack of huskies and mallies had to survive in the Antarctic and they lived on seagulls, they looked pretty tasty to me!
Looks like you had such a great time! Love the dirty shot.
Oink oink,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig
Hehehehe! I really did. It was worth the bath:-)
We miss grass and mud, we just got the cold white stuff that was too cold to really be out yesterday (Lee tried walking on 2 legs only). Get a little extra muddy for us snow dogs next time. Lee and Phod
Oh bless Lee! I wish I had snow:-(
That looks like a lot of fun. And good job with the treats and such for getting a bath. Work the system.
I do my best!!
Hey Misaki, Jet here.
You look pawesomely in your element! I would have enjoyed the mud, too! As soon as this Cone comes off, watch out!
Glad you got the itchy fluff out during what we like to call Spa Day! Do you get blow dried? We dry off au natural!!!
I’m scared of the hair dryer, so daddy towel-dries me best he can – he pretends to be a bullfighter bol
How can you be losing your winter coat on Jan 2? You’ll be naked for the Iditarod.
Mummy says I’m not allowed to enter till next year when I’m fully grown:-(
My hairy slobber sister Bob, comes in the house and jumps right into the bathtub without even being asked, when she gets muddy like that!
Kisses
Nellie
Please don’t tell my daddy that or he’ll want to swap me for Bob!!
OOOOOOooweee! Look how green and fun everything is. You get to run free and look truly Alaskan! Muddy mud mud
Isn’t mud the best!! Apart from snow ofc:-)
I don’t think that there’s anything more beautiful than a dirty dog.
Mummy doesn’t agree and says you’re welcome to bath me next time bol!!
Looks like an absolutely GRAND day!!
It was! Can’t beat mud (well unless there’s snow bol)
that looks like you had a wonderful time even if you had to have a “B” Bet the “B” made you feel better!
It did, but don’t tell mummy and daddy!
Glad to see that Eko’s not the only pup who judges how fun the day was by how dirty he gets! Looks like a blast.
Could you imagine me and Eko in the mud together? That would be soooo much fun!
looks like you had a lot of fun!
I really did Speedy:-)
Those are some muddy pants!
Hehehehe! I know! Mummy was not impressed BOL
Nuttin’ better than splashing in some puddles! Woof!
Can’t beat it!
It sounds like so much fun. Wish we were there to play with you, Also, we love your harness. We wear them, too. Much better than having some human pull on our necks. Lots of love from Mattie the foxhound, Simone the collie, and Eddie & Lucy the JRs. Oh and our peep.
I don’t like it tbh, mummy prefers to walk with me on it, but when she tries to put me in it I run away BOL. Sometimes it takes mummy AND daddy to get me in it!!!
What a great run, Misaki! Mud and everything! I am sorry about the b-a-t-h…that is always the worst part
It sure is Remy! I’m sure if they let me dry the mud would just brush out…right?
Good job sweet Misaki you worked them good for those treats and cuddles you must have a very good saddest look. Hugs and nose kisses
I really did Chancy! I’m very good at the guilt trip BOL
What a great action shot of you Misaki!
For once, mummy managed to get some decent shots:-)
Sounds like a pretty darn good start to me, Misaki. Especially the mud and water
. Even baths aren’t so bad.
I knew you’d like the mud Sage:-)
You had sooo much fun didn’t you Misaki! If I was lucky enough to see a a Alaskan Malamute running off leash I think I’d stay there all day just watching!
I had to be on the extendable lead for some of the time, but there’s a playing field near nanny’s that’s gated so I got to do some great zoomies:-)
You sure know how to work em’ gurl!! Gettin’ all those treaties and scrittches for a bath you secrectly wanted anyway ~ genius!
Kisses,
Ruby
Hehehe Ruby, I love it when a plan comes together:-)
Wow! What a fun time!! It was prolly worth the Baff, right?
it sure was Spitty! But it’s our secret, right? BOL
Wheeeeeeee! Nothing like zoomies in a nice field and splashing in puddles!
It’s the best Casey!
This looks like great fun! We love running in an open field!
