When I was younger I had a red kong. It was a ball with a hole in it perfectly sized for a small biscuit. I loved it and played with it constantly. But one day it went missing and mummy couldn’t find it anywhere. She knew how much I’d loved it so she bought me another one. But within a week or two that was gone too. It wasn’t replaced:-(
Anyway, yesterday I was playing with a squeaky ball in the kitchen when it disappeared. Mummy couldn’t find it anywhere, and I was pretty sad. But she noticed I kept looking at the corner of the cabinets. When she looked, there’s a small hole at the bottom where the two ends meet. And sure enough inside the gap there was my squeaky ball!
But even more amazing was that behind it were both my red kongs! Woohoo! Daddy blocked up the gap as best he could and mummy washed the kongs.
I haven’t stopped playing with them since:-) Unfortunately I was last seen with them in the kitchen…
Happy new year everyone!!
I’ve been super busy the last few days and haven’t had a chance to get round and see you all. Neither have I had a chance to reply to all your lovely comments. But I am trying to catch up and hope to be back up to speed soon.
As well as visiting family and friends, I’ve been trying sprouts, not too sure about them though.
As you can see I’m not that impressed!
I’m also in the process of blowing my winter coat and so there is fur everywhere hehehehe!
I’m getting brushed lots which I pretend I don’t like (in the hope of treats) but really I do:-)
Hope you are all enjoying the holidays! My advice is avoid the sprouts bol.
I mentioned before that on Boxing Day I was due to meet my new doggie cousin Dizzy!
We are now besties:-) I hope I get to see her again soon!
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I sure did! I got some lovely gifts and was thoroughly spoilt:-)
Plus I got a yummy bone:-)
Today (26th) was also mummy’s birthday. She’s ancient now so I had to help her open her presents.
I bought her some thermal socks to wear with her wellies so she doesn’t get cold feet when I take her walking. Clever, eh?
I had lots of fun meeting my doggie cousin Dizzy. But I’ll tell you about that tomorrow.
My lovely friend Stuart Christmassed me the other day, I look super cool!:
And I am so excited about Christmas and I hope you are too!!!
We’ll be with family for the next couple of days and I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to get online. So I hope you all have a lovely Christmas. I hope you get spoilt rotten, but most of all I hope you spend it with loved ones.
Lots of big slobbery doggie kisses,
Something terrible has happened! And I’m so worried that it’s going to put me on the naughty list!
Earlier Prof Hippo and I were playing nicely:
Then I got distracted by daddy eating a bag of crisps, and when I went back to find Prof Hippo, he looked like this:
Who could’ve done this?? I can only think that those evil birds have been round again, but how did they get in??
I hope Santa doesn’t think it was me!
Today I get to open the 21st box on my advent calendar!! That means (as I predicted yesterday) the world didn’t end AND it’s only a few days to go till Christmas! I am so excited!
This is going to be the best Christmas EVER!!
PUPDATE part 2: Cute little Stuart has used my photo in his friday’s Foto Fun post. I look sooo cool!: http://scottiechronicles.com/2012/12/21/fridays-foto-fun-misaki/
Tomorrow (December 21st 2012) is supposed to be the end of the world, because the Mayan calendar runs out. How rubbish is that, having the end of the world right before Christmas!
But you can all breath a sigh of relief, cos you know what? I found the one for 2013!
Yay! All is right in the world again and we can all enjoy an end-of-the-world-free Christmas:-)
For Christmas, Mummy decided to take a leaf out of Kyla’s book and buy me a personalised bowl. I don’t know if you’ve seen Kyla and Kaci’s bowls, but they are very nice. You can see them here
The reason I’m able to tell you this is because the bowl now isn’t my present – it turned into a big /FAIL
Anyway, so Mummy found a website that sells some and they had a choice of small, medium or large. Mummy thought I’d obviously need large. She ordered it and yesterday it arrived. How exciting!
She noticed the box was very big, but assumed that was because of the packaging. It wasn’t.
Errr…Mummy, what are you trying to say about me! Even I don’t eat THAT much! That’s a GIANT’S bowl!!
One of mummy’s work friends said that if she gives me the bowl, every dinnertime I’ll be disappointed because it’ll look like there’s no food in it!!
Mummy is now trying to think of another use for the bowl (plant pot, casserole dish, something to whack daddy with…?) And it’s now back to the drawing board to think up a new present for me. She’d better hurry up though as time is ticking away!
Today I attempted to email out my Christmas ecard, but something has gone wrong. I suspect some of you may have got it several times, while others didn’t get it at all.
So to save further frustration (and from blocking up your inboxes further!) I’m posting it below. If you didn’t receive it by email and would like to, please let me know. If you prefer not to write your email address in the comments below, you can always email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Merry Christmas everyone!
