phone
Posted: June 18, 2012 Filed under: humans, photography, walks | Tags: alaskan malamute, phone, puppy, stick 10 Comments »My humans both have new phone thingies. Not having thumbs, I don’t really understand the appeal. I once tried to use my daddy’s phone but he got quite upset when he found me with it in the garden (whoopsie!). Since then I’ve stayed clear, but today I couldn’t avoid it.
Usually when I take my mummy for her morning walk I chase pigeons round the field, or maybe mummy throws a ball which I catch and then she has to chase me to get it back
But this morning she was too busy using her phone to play with me:-( So I found myself a nice stick and sat down with that instead – she then seemed upset that I wasn’t running around! Humans are never happy!
She did take some photos of me on her phone thingy, so I guess that’s a small consolation. But I hope she tires of it soon, otherwise our walks are going to get very boring!
Father’s Day
Posted: June 17, 2012 Filed under: humans | Tags: alaskan malamute, father's day, puppy 12 Comments »Today is something called Father’s Day which apparently means saying thanks to our dads for giving us lots of belly rubs and bonios. So I’m sending big slobbery doggy kisses to my daddy.
Mummy helped me make a card with my picture on it, so once I’ve finished writing this post I’m going to wake daddy up using my dog tongue jutsu and give it to him
This my favourite picture of me and my daddy when I was 5 weeks old, I think I look pretty cute here. It’s amazing that once I could fit in his hands.
Happy father’s day daddy. And to all the other dad’s out there. Keep up the good work!
Honk the duck
Posted: June 14, 2012 Filed under: toys | Tags: alaskan malamute, puppy, toy 35 Comments »My daddy has bought me a new toy, but I think he’s regretting it now! Its a duck that honks and I like it so much I’ve been playing with it all day. I like throwing it around my head, chewing it, pouncing on it and mostly making it honk
I’ve seen ducks in the park, but my humans never let me play with them so this is definitely the next best thing.
I love my duck <3
Quick Hello!
Posted: June 13, 2012 Filed under: food, humans, training | Tags: alaskan malamute, hello, puppy 29 Comments »I’ve spent all day guarding the house and discovered something called fisherman’s friends. There should be a warning on the pack saying how yucky yuck these are! How can humans eat them??
Anyway, I have to rush off soon as I need to take my humans to training class. But wanted to say a quick hello to those of you who have popped over from Oskar’s site. He has kindly featured a link to my blog today:-) Thank you Oskar! And hello and welcome to all my new friends.
Doggy kisses xxx
Sad day
Posted: June 12, 2012 Filed under: dogs | Tags: alaskan malamute, holiday, lennox, puppy, sad 18 Comments »Today is a sad day.
First of all because my humans have gone back to work
Why can’t holidays last forever?
And secondly, I’m sad because of Lennox. While waiting for my daddy to come home, I read this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-18408152
Sending lots of doggy kisses to Lennox’s family, I feel for them, and for Lennox too xx
Misaki-sitting
Posted: June 10, 2012 Filed under: food, humans | Tags: alaskan malamute, dogsitting, puppy 5 Comments »My human mummy and daddy went out last night and didn’t get back till this morning!! But luckily mummy’s dam and sire – or as I call them nanny and grampy – came over to play with me and make sure I got my dinner and breakfast on time (obviously the most important part of their visit!)
Grampy always brings me treats and sneaks them to me when no-one is looking, so I love it when he visits:-) Without my humans around, he had even more chance to give me treats, and in return I gave him lots of doggy kisses using my dog tongue jutsu special ability.
Although I missed mummy and daddy and did keep watch for them at the front door, I loved nanny and grampy’s staying. I hope they take care of me again soon!

Gardening update

And this is me in the bath after all my hardwork
Gardening
Posted: June 6, 2012 Filed under: garden, humans, weather | Tags: alaskan malamute, bath, garden, puppy 3 Comments »My humans are on holiday this week and have decided to ‘work’ on the garden, which seems to actually mean destroying it ><. I’m not really sure they know what they’re doing, so yesterday I decided to help out. I started off by supervising, but ended up doing all the hard labour. For my troubles I got muddy paws and before I could clean up, I got dumped unceremoniously in the bath! So rude!
They did some more work today, but I took a more laid back approach in my advice – did not want to end up in the tub again! They didn’t get very far as they kept having to go out and buy more tools. I checked their purchases regularly, but they forgot to get anything for me!
It also started raining and as they lack any kind of weather proofing (unlike me) they ran inside and hid. So the poor garden is in a sorry state. I hope they get their acts together soon and finish it off so I can play out there again.
